I always felt the WNBA would of been more popular if the league was around when Cheryl was playing because she would have given the instant star power that it’s never had
I am a Chicago Bulls fan and my all time favorite basketball player is the GOAT Michael Jordan. However, I have much respect for Reggie Miller. I love Reggie and he is without a doubt, an all time great! I have a huge collection of Reggie Miller basketball cards. Reggie Miller is one of my favorite basketball players of all time. The 80's and 90's era was the greatest era, in NBA basketball history. Reggie looks like he hasn't aged a day, since his playing days! God Bless!!
Spoelstra is not going to acknowledge the gameplan, even when it's obvious. Jokic assisting others scoring energizes the team. The team plays harder when they're all involved.
Let's see, Kareem, Bill Walton, Gail Goodrich, Willie Naulls, Sidney Wicks, Marques Johnson just off the top of my head. Reggie belongs with that group of great UCLA players, Maybe 4th. He was great.
They took a page out of the 2004 Pistons vs Lakers Playbook. Play the Stars Shaq and Kobe straight up, no help, let them get theirs, and absolutely destroy everyone else
I place Sidney Wicks above Reggie and Ed O for UCLA all-timers. Can’t go just by the stats, Big Sid was also a defensive force and set the tone for the game. He’s why my favorite jersey number was 35. Addendum: I forgot about Marques Johnson!
I'm surprised the Heat Zone Defense has been so effective. They use it more so in the 2nd Half, on & off. Then down the stretch in the 4th Q, they stuck with the zone and got the W. Guts & Strategy by Spoelstra & staff.
I agree that he is not a knicks legend. However I understand that before they won the series this year in the first round, the knicks had won just ONE playoff series in 23 years and he was the best player on that team so I get why they like him so much. I disagree about Bernard king though, melo was better and had a better career.
@@SeanJones-u2e im referring just to his run with the knicks alone. king before and after ny wasnt much. during he was the man. melo has had a better overall career. but his time with the knicks is being exaggerated as some epic tenure.
If you look at Michael Porter Jr’s numbers in all three previous rounds they’re very good. So he’s been more than solid up until the Finals and an important piece of their winning. Does he need to continue that in the Finals for Denver to win? Absolutely.
Love how the comment section either craps on Dan or echoes back what they already said in this segment or earlier in the show. Watch or listen to the whole damn thing, Dan said if the guys make their shots Jokic's assists go up, its a mute point and Denver wins. Can't stand people that hate something they're watching and then comment on it. Save your breath, or in this case your word and time, and go watch stuff you enjoy.
Without good players, no coach is going to look good. What happened to the Warriors when Durant and Thompson were injured for an entire season? They stunk and ended up with the 2nd pick in the draft.
I was waiting to see what would happen when Denver finally got punched in the mouth, which hadn't really happened all playoffs (and I had a sneaking suspicion Miami would be the team to do it). What do ya know? The "disrespected" Nuggies were too busy tasting the fresh blood coming from their mouth to the extent that they couldn't pick themselves up off the mat to recover. Looks like we got ourselves a series here!!
They were blown the hell outta the water in the fourth quarter, but keep crying about total nonsense (Butler was never OOB) and questionable calls that went both ways, by the way.
@@Vic-Vega butler stepped out of bounds before he made a pass to Vincent that turned into a made three. There’s clear evidence of it. No point in trying to argue that. But yeah, the nuggs didn’t lose because of missed calls. Missed calls happen both ways. The nuggets lost because they played awful defensively and had huge mistakes on defense
I hope all current college athletes earning their NIL money remember, and thank, Ed O'Bannon - like all baseball players should remember and thank Curt Flood.
Spoelstra was pretending to be agitated with the question because his strategy was exposed and he didn't want to talk about it. He knew d@mn well the question was a legitimate one.

I am rooting for the heat but I went from thinking nuggets in 4-5 to nuggets in 6, maybe 5. This is not a duplicate able formula for Miami. Miami changed everything up for game 2, nuggets just need to recalibrate.
Only Syracuse should retire Carmelo....he didn't do jack in Denver or NY other than scoring a bunch of points and leading his teams to a few playoff losses. The problem with Carmelo is that he was essentially a volume shooting empty calorie ball hog. A great scorer, yes, but winner, no. Forcing his way to the Knicks UNNECESSARILY (the deal was done, it was just the timing) and destroying the team's prospect for improvement for a decade and his own for winning (did he care about that?) is a blackmark that he will never live down. There is a reason (actually several) that he spent the latter part of his career in the no-team-would-pick-him-up wilderness, at least partly because teams became wary of his reputation until he finally seemed to accept his role as a role player, not the Mr. Franchise (something Russell Westbrook is still struggling with). I liked his short stint with the Lakers for that. On the Reggie Miller as the best UCLA player question, other than the 3-4 they all acknowledged were ahead of him (though Reggie hemmed and hawed about Gail Goodrich, who won both at UCLA and in the NBA--he's one of those forgotten stars of the '70s, forming a deadly guard duo with Jerry West), there were a bunch of other excellent players they didn't mention. I am not sure that Reggie was miles ahead of guys like Baron Davis, Kevin Love, and, yes, Russell Westbrook (neither Reggie nor Russ won at UCLA, but Russ arguably has had more individual success in the NBA, the MVP and successive record-breaking triple-double seasons). Still, growing up I loved watching Reggie as a Bruin in the old days, and remember his scoffing at the 19' 3-point line then in place, "It's like a layup for me!"
Umm... it was a UCLA question not a career question.... And that russell westbrick triple double season is one of the most overrated seasons in NBA history. He sacrificed everything for stats. I would take Miller over Westbrook in the NBA every single day of the week. Not even a question.
Denver definitely has enough depth. You only need 7 to win a championship when you have somebody like jokic. But man is it impressive how many players Miami is able to effectively utilize. It has the nuggets heads SPINNING
