I don’t think the coaching staff would be wise to bring in another QB to take snaps away from Josh and maybe alienate him. We’ve seen Josh make plays with his feet before so we know he has the ability. The coaching staff just needs to emphasize that part of his game more. TCU also needs to stop with the gimmick offense packages go get a real RB in the portal.
Why can’t we get an O-lineman. Guys are going to to Arkansas and Kentucky but we can’t get dudes here w the potential to start. Just seems we’re capable of landing some of these dudes but we’re never in the running. Perplexing.
Trust me as someone from Michigan, that's seen orji alot...you don't want him,he literally can't throw the ball...and he is slow,I mean they inflated his 40 time insanely...he is a 4.6 to 4.8...not fast enough to run anything
I’m a Michigan fan and TCU Alum. I do not want Alex Orji. I was excited to see him go to Michigan, but he’s more of a running back than a qb. And I see your point, but if we ever have to rely on him to throw I’m not confident in his arm or decision making.
@ it makes sense. I am just thinking I don’t want to see him throw unless he’s really developed that skill where he can be a competent passing threat. Taysom could do both and defenders knew it. When Orji came in, they’d just load up the box against him because they knew he couldn’t pass it that well. Michigan was also a very run heavy team this year so that could have also played a huge part. If any of our RBs get established and can be that running threat, we won’t need a QB to run short yardage.
I like that Stephen you're thinking outside the box, kinda like me calling for Jason Witten to be our next head coach.Hey I think he'll appeal to young recruits and he's got a young football mind.

We need to whip out the check book for OT Elijah Pritchett

I honestly don’t think we have lost any critical parts to the portal. I hate to see Hauss go, but it did make sense
TCU needs to do a better job at developing offense lineman and offer a boat load of $$$ to a running back
Does tcu plan on running the triple option ? If not then not a single team needs orji at qb
Really?? Have you seen him throw a football??
Did you listen to the segment? I am not asking him to throw much.
Orji played at Dallas Bishop Dunne.

I am thinking he would be like Taysom Hill in New Orleans if that makes sense.

You guys can do better than Orgi
What about Ken seals he still has another season of eligibility and he hasn't transferred yet.
You could keep Ken and still get Alex. They have different skill sets.
But would that be attractive for orji knowing that he might be the third string compared to be a full starter some where else
michigan fan here. orji can not throw. he is a locker room guy and a insane athlete but he has no position. he should switch to tight end/h back
This next portal what do you think we need to get and who do you think could be the starters next season
Never gonna happen. Hausa just left w no PT. while I think it would elevate the game here it’s not gonna happen. Hoovers the man.
You would have to sell him on having a very specific role.
