this is why I kill steal regardless. because it's better to secure and give my adc an assist. the only times I really let them have it is if I'm very sure they'll get it. but that's usually past laning phase (when they should be pretty strong or when I'm also assisting my jg in team fights). or when it's very obvious they will get the kill in laning phase.
Frrr, and then when you actually do kill the enemy cause otherwise he’d get away, you get called out for kill stealing… but if you didn’t do it the enemy wouldn’t even been dead at all
I know the other guide videos were probably too long for the average gamer/viewer but that's what made them so good for those of us who are hard stuck and really want to get better 😔. When Professor Breaker would talk more extensively about each point and each champion type and the pros and cons and some matchups. But yeah this kinda felt like the university professor who would come into your class, read some points from a slide show and then leave 😢
Yes please, advanced wave management video. Another topic that would be helpful: what to do after early game. Mid game and late game is the most difficult because the decision making is far less clear than early. It’d really help the community to learn a breakdown of how to make decisions towards the end of the game.
As a enchanter support main the Tip that i can give is that prioritize buying boots and enchatment before objective spawn. It will help your team especially early objectives fight and team fights. Spell and Enchantment combination against certain enemy champs.: Exhaust + Lockect enchant against kata ult and kennen ult. The exahaust will lessen the damage and the locket will help to absorb the damage. Exhaust + twin Shadow against champion with invisibility and camouflage abilities ( rengar, evelyn, vayne, akali). Spam this spells when rengar and vayne use their ult, when akali use her shroud and when evelynn use her W. Hextech mega drive is very useful item for this spell combo.
It is somewhat disappointing to see that all the guides are 40 minutes long and only the support one does not last even half It is like undervaluing a role that is important in the team, considering that there are few content creators who make support videos. It would be great to have the guide with more information, I was waiting for this guide for months and I am disappointed to see only a couple of minutes
I feel like I want to quit support role because it's hard to rank up in solo even if I have a duo adc, it's still hard to win when your random teammates trolling or feeding.
I'm going to prove Darkbreaker wrong 😁. Senna is a great support. You don't need to build Ad to be an effective support bas Senna. But some people ruin her by playing like an Ad carry. Trying to last hit every minions which is the opposite of how Senna works. Play her like an actual support and she's definitely S tier. 😄
You missed utility support that have many kits to help adc like orianna(shield, cc & movement speed), lux(bind & shield) and probably AP rakan... They provide a lot of tools to make play or even save adc

I started playing WR in S3, never played any other MOBA before. I started playing Ranked near the end of S3 and is now at Emerald III as a SoloQ Support main (56% wr over 233 games, KDA 6.2, Nami Main 56% wr also over 78 games). I have done my homework and learnt about the role and what needs to be done through guides and videos (micro, macro, wave management, ranked etc all the stuff). I find it very frustrating to be SoloQ as support in low elo with the new matchmaking when I am frequently matched with less skilled teammates because I do not have enough agency/damage to carry the game like for example a jungle does. No matter how well I do, if my team is potato there is nothing I can do to win because my champion is obviously not designed to be 1v9. I (Emerald me) have been matched with Gold teammates before against Emerald/Diamonds Junglers and those games were an absolute pain to play. This frustration is also why I don't like to play tank in my elos anymore because I am a literal sitting duck if my team does not let me engage first or does not follow-up my engage (happens a lot). . So perhaps there is an argument to be made about full AP supports and their role in helping soloQ support players climbing past the elo hell. My heal/shield/peel are still potent as full AP support (due to AP scaling) but I also output enough damage to turn a fight around and surprise the enemies because all they see is "oh look! support easy kill!" (NOPE!). At Emerald, I typically do "selfish" support builds in low elo lobbies and do true support builds in higher elo lobbies, except when my high elo team inted in draft with full AP (then I pick Senna) or full AD (then I pick Brand). Anyway, this is just my perspective as an average no-smurf new comer to WR who tries to main Support SoloQ. I obviously have a long to way to go to be a better player too and I work on it every week. dam i really feel u to the bone. i know I'm as good as you but just last week i for the first time climb to emerald IV, then a 14 rank game lose streak brought me back to plat III, on most of the games i had teammates who afk when we're starting to lose(mostly jg, sry to all but fuk them) . and i must say most of the games they always tell me to go tank support and when i don't they flame me real hard and make the reason why were losing.
@@amberfellow7784 lol no tank supports in this meta. I have stopped playing tank supps in these elos because people have no idea how to follow up. You don’t really need a tank but more importantly just need a front liner or an engager (doesn’t have to be a tank, Diana will do for eg). So I just turn off my chat, ignore them and just play. Even without engagers you’re technically still fine, your team then is supposed to wait for the enemies to start objectives and steal those. But low elo people don’t understand and keep going in looking for fights without an engagers all the time, lose, and proceed to blame “no tank”. It’s not a “no tank” problem but more of a problem about not knowing how to play to your team comp.

I was Main support in lol pc (dia), In wild rift I choose to be an adc main but I saw that support players are usually dont know how to play it. So I changed my role to support because usually the team with good support n jungler wins the match, because they are the most effective roles for all map. Now almost every match my team have a good carry probably because of people knows how to play carry roles but no one knows how to play support. How to control visions on objectives, how to roam how to engage or disengage or peet etc. Not the bettter carry wins but better teamwork wins.
As a support main I always consider my actions to which adc I am supporting and who we are facing against, roaming always depends on how you control your lanes. And yeah I also hate damaging supports, whomever thought of putting those guys in the support categories needs to lose their memory.
I always play off meta supports. I’m not a fan at all of playing the traditional support role. My main is malphite and imo he is a great pick because not a lot of people understand how to counter him.
And the biggest tip you didn't say is: don't farm, don't get the kills early game, I mean if your adc has 10 kills it's ok to get the kill but not early kills specially adc and junglers, you don't have carry potential so assist is enough for your farm, let them get ahead and you will win the game
The problem is sometimes your jungler and adc's macro play is so bad or they're too passive so, they hardly get any kills or they pick bad teamfights. I understand the part of feeding our late game guys but at the same time... it's hard too put the power in the hands of people who have no clue what they're doing.
Every time I play solo jungle, my support/duo never comes to early scuttle fight when their supp comes and makes the difference 😒😒😒. It's so hard to find a support that knows when to go and where to go.
That shouldn't be a problem if you truly understand the game. Duo lane, Mid lane and Baron lane should know when to help Jungler for Scuttle because it provides and important vision in the river so you won't get ganked by an enemy jungler, at the same time helping your team jungler so he will get XP fast and be available to gank faster. Some people don't realise how important Scuttle is.
As an ADC, I'd roam and get flamed by my sup. Haha. They never roam and help out other parts of the map. As a Sup, I roam as if playing jungle (although my focus is on being sup for everyone). It has worked.
Even tho I've got a good amount of experience as support main in my bag but it's nowhere near full yet. I've still yet to learn about wave management even tho I'm a support. Like you mentioned when it's ok to roam and when not to with the minions coming. I'll try and keep an eye on that one. It'd be more helpful if anyone with real experience help out.
As a rakan main not good. in midlane sure but on suport nah there is only 1 cenario you need to go ap rakan if your top and jg builds tank otherwise I recommend going for full tank because you are a frontline Suport its not your job to deal a damage its adc's job to deal damage your job is to find good engage and be able to tank up all damage coming as long as possible so you give your team time to kill an opponent I trying out ap rakan build nowadays but its not too bad but its not best anyways rush zeekes, gargoyle and other items optional depends on enemy team comb 🙂 Edit: other downside of ap is killstealing xd Edit 2: sorry there is 2 nd cenario where you cam go ap if you alredy have frontline and your whole team is lategame scaling then you can go roa

I main support and probably one of the best things so far in solo queue is that if the enemy supp is a snare type like lux, thresh and etc, always have ward in one the lane bushes. Will always keep your adr safe not unless they're a stupid piece of dogshit if they can't hear your endless spam of pings to back to fvck up
I really senna as a solo que support to ensure if my carry is far down rated i can carry my own if the call is needed and building her is very versatile u can go muramana and black cleaver for early and winning lane or black cleaver infinity edge for a lossing one. She's very forgiving in terms of having bad adc and have enough skill scaling to invest ur skills at.
I give you 2 instances from my games on the player base dont know exactly what us supports or adc try to do. 1. Opponent vayne was carrying so hard and other lanes had pretty even game. So i as nami decided to let our caitlyn farm as much and started helping other lanes. I get flamed by my own teammates to have carried them. I told it is to get caitlyn ahead in gold and nobody understands. In the end we beat them and the reason .. i didnt share gold with caitlyn.. my gold 10.7k and cait gold 17k and we beat the enemy team and vayne who had 16k.. and all my team in chat were like mantap(excellent) nami .. atleast i was happy they realized and diamond elo by the way. 2. I was adc and had a support(AP) seraphine. I dont mind her taking 1 or 2 minions during trades.. bt she uses instant e or q to clear the waves and do not let us freeze lanes. She was emerald and dont understand the concept of freezing lanes.
Yah everytime i tried to dont ks enemy get away and i mostly loose m'y games when i play that way, its solo q After all. U cant always be sure that you team Can secure something. Sometime u have to ks from a reaally bad adc because he Can give a shutdown. And bad players with or without gold still bad so as a support i try to support the win conditions even if i had to split push because if i dont WE loos 2 turrets or m'y baron laner busy chasing a rammus or a zed
2:04 yeah i know I watched his pyke gameplay in MidBeast channel I think he reached challenger in any role and only support remaining but im not so sure
Ngl most support mains are also very good adc player because they know how to play the 2v2 matchups. But sadly most Wild Rift adc come from other mobas and dont know how to manage minion waves and when to leave a minion wave to recall etc. or time recalls.
Having supports like Lux was my biggest issues in League of legends, I hated them for putting Velkoz, lux, Brand, malzahar, etc. In support category, in pro plays yes they're amazing, but in casual games people who uses mage champs as supports tends to ignore their adc most of the time, they play like carries instead of supporting. This is one of the reason I started playing as support so that nobody on my team will play lux support, I hate them, they ruined the role.
I wish people understood that the support's role is NOT to babysit the ADC (especially when that ADC isn't that good). I'm growing tired of ADCs complain they die because I abandoned them, while I pinged, went to help mid get the tower and jung get an objective "report support". Yeah, friend, maybe you can also play under your tower for 2min while I help the rest of the team?
Hugely disappointed with this guide. Feels like a bullet point list handed to you on the hallway to finish up a project. The other guides jungle/baron were much more detailed and you could feel the effort and passion behind it. I understand that DB isn't a support player but this "Ultimate" guide is a slap in the face for every support main who was anticipating a in depth guide like the ones before. This content is like low elo pick phase: "oh sh** we need a support too... you there! You got this"
You know whats funny i wrote down an extra scripts for this which was more than for the other guides. It shorter because of the editing and the lack of extra explanation. But this wss honestly more work than the others lol. I just wanted to try out this style since ive seen people complain about the length of the guides.

As a casual support player, that saw all your tweets about supports in the past I was so excited when I heard about an "Ultimate Support Guide" and your take on the role. This was your chance to grab someone like Clue, Excoundrel, Kies etc. and publish a video to show the importance of a good support and how to become one, finishing up with a "support is fuc**** easy" - Aphromoo, after this guide. All it did however was leave a bitter taste and the feeling that nobody really cares anyway

You probably have one of the biggest influences on the community, make 600+ people appear out of thin air on twitch and bring so many new people to the game. I can´t see this guide inspiring anyone to pick up the role and know what to do with it. Like you said 7:00 playing other roles helps understanding the game and I used to watch your guides alongside trying out new roles, can´t say it´s possible with this one

It means this video didn't cover anything and was bad considering support is harder than it looks.

I understand the part of feeding our late game guys but at the same time... it's hard too put the power in the hands of people who have no clue what they're doing.
Every time I play solo jungle, my support/duo never comes to early scuttle fight when their supp comes and makes the difference 😒😒😒. It's so hard to find a support that knows when to go and where to go.
That shouldn't be a problem if you truly understand the game. Duo lane, Mid lane and Baron lane should know when to help Jungler for Scuttle because it provides and important vision in the river so you won't get ganked by an enemy jungler, at the same time helping your team jungler so he will get XP fast and be available to gank faster. Some people don't realise how important Scuttle is.

As an ADC, I'd roam and get flamed by my sup. Haha. They never roam and help out other parts of the map.
As a Sup, I roam as if playing jungle (although my focus is on being sup for everyone). It has worked.

Even tho I've got a good amount of experience as support main in my bag but it's nowhere near full yet. I've still yet to learn about wave management even tho I'm a support. Like you mentioned when it's ok to roam and when not to with the minions coming. I'll try and keep an eye on that one. It'd be more helpful if anyone with real experience help out.

What do u think about ap rakan
As a rakan main not good. in midlane sure but on suport nah there is only 1 cenario you need to go ap rakan if your top and jg builds tank otherwise I recommend going for full tank because you are a frontline Suport its not your job to deal a damage its adc's job to deal damage your job is to find good engage and be able to tank up all damage coming as long as possible so you give your team time to kill an opponent I trying out ap rakan build nowadays but its not too bad but its not best anyways rush zeekes, gargoyle and other items optional depends on enemy team comb 🙂

Edit 2: sorry there is 2 nd cenario where you cam go ap if you alredy have frontline and your whole team is lategame scaling then you can go roa

I main support and probably one of the best things so far in solo queue is that if the enemy supp is a snare type like lux, thresh and etc, always have ward in one the lane bushes. Will always keep your adr safe not unless they're a stupid piece of dogshit if they can't hear your endless spam of pings to back to fvck up

It's because most players wanna get the kills and carry the game.
I really senna as a solo que support to ensure if my carry is far down rated i can carry my own if the call is needed and building her is very versatile u can go muramana and black cleaver for early and winning lane or black cleaver infinity edge for a lossing one. She's very forgiving in terms of having bad adc and have enough skill scaling to invest ur skills at.
I give you 2 instances from my games on the player base dont know exactly what us supports or adc try to do.
1. Opponent vayne was carrying so hard and other lanes had pretty even game. So i as nami decided to let our caitlyn farm as much and started helping other lanes. I get flamed by my own teammates to have carried them. I told it is to get caitlyn ahead in gold and nobody understands. In the end we beat them and the reason .. i didnt share gold with caitlyn.. my gold 10.7k and cait gold 17k and we beat the enemy team and vayne who had 16k.. and all my team in chat were like mantap(excellent) nami .. atleast i was happy they realized and diamond elo by the way.
2. I was adc and had a support(AP) seraphine. I dont mind her taking 1 or 2 minions during trades.. bt she uses instant e or q to clear the waves and do not let us freeze lanes. She was emerald and dont understand the concept of freezing lanes.

Yah everytime i tried to dont ks enemy get away and i mostly loose m'y games when i play that way, its solo q After all. U cant always be sure that you team Can secure something. Sometime u have to ks from a reaally bad adc because he Can give a shutdown. And bad players with or without gold still bad so as a support i try to support the win conditions even if i had to split push because if i dont WE loos 2 turrets or m'y baron laner busy chasing a rammus or a zed

Ngl most support mains are also very good adc player because they know how to play the 2v2 matchups. But sadly most Wild Rift adc come from other mobas and dont know how to manage minion waves and when to leave a minion wave to recall etc. or time recalls.
Having supports like Lux was my biggest issues in League of legends, I hated them for putting Velkoz, lux, Brand, malzahar, etc. In support category, in pro plays yes they're amazing, but in casual games people who uses mage champs as supports tends to ignore their adc most of the time, they play like carries instead of supporting. This is one of the reason I started playing as support so that nobody on my team will play lux support, I hate them, they ruined the role.
I wish people understood that the support's role is NOT to babysit the ADC (especially when that ADC isn't that good). I'm growing tired of ADCs complain they die because I abandoned them, while I pinged, went to help mid get the tower and jung get an objective "report support". Yeah, friend, maybe you can also play under your tower for 2min while I help the rest of the team?

Hugely disappointed with this guide. Feels like a bullet point list handed to you on the hallway to finish up a project. The other guides jungle/baron were much more detailed and you could feel the effort and passion behind it. I understand that DB isn't a support player but this "Ultimate" guide is a slap in the face for every support main who was anticipating a in depth guide like the ones before. This content is like low elo pick phase: "oh sh** we need a support too... you there! You got this"
You know whats funny i wrote down an extra scripts for this which was more than for the other guides. It shorter because of the editing and the lack of extra explanation. But this wss honestly more work than the others lol. I just wanted to try out this style since ive seen people complain about the length of the guides.

As a casual support player, that saw all your tweets about supports in the past I was so excited when I heard about an "Ultimate Support Guide" and your take on the role. This was your chance to grab someone like Clue, Excoundrel, Kies etc. and publish a video to show the importance of a good support and how to become one, finishing up with a "support is fuc**** easy" - Aphromoo, after this guide. All it did however was leave a bitter taste and the feeling that nobody really cares anyway

@@Darkbreaker that´s the point. You focused on great points but it´s almost impossible to do anything with it in this form. It´s 1/5 of the jungle guide! You probably have one of the biggest influences on the community, make 600+ people appear out of thin air on twitch and bring so many new people to the game. I can´t see this guide inspiring anyone to pick up the role and know what to do with it. Like you said 7:00 playing other roles helps understanding the game and I used to watch your guides alongside trying out new roles, can´t say it´s possible with this one
