- If you’re looking to give your Toyota Tacoma a bold new look, these Matte Black Projector Headlights with DRL Light Bar are the way to go. These headlights combine a factory-style form factor and an all-black finish resulting in a distinctly modern design. Add to this the built-in DRL light bar and you have a pair of headlights that’s sure to give your truck an eye-catching new look.
Superior Brightness. These headlights get their illumination from H7 halogen bulbs for the high- and low-beams. Likewise, the lights’ projector-style lenses work with the bulbs to produce a more focused beam of light. Additionally, the LED light bar DRLs help improve your truck’s visibility to oncoming motorists. This is particularly helpful when parked on the side of the road.
Rugged Build Quality. These headlights feature a rugged automotive-grade plastic construction for superior durability. These headlights are made using a specialized precision-forming technique that provides an accurate fit. These assemblies are then fully sealed for ideal weather-resistant performance. Finally, these headlights feature a sleek matte-black finish for a stylish look. terrain.jp/3nHKCHg

just removed my 2014 tacoma grill. these instructions were perfect. I am an idiot so I removed the 2 clips at the bottom on either side near the trim by the headlamp housing. so don't remove this or it will add give to the bottom making removing the grill tabs on the bottom extra difficult. SO DONT REMOVE THE 2 BOTTOM CLIPS. Her instructions on here are spot on and shouldn't be modified like I did.
She made pulling out that headlamp look so easy. I’ve seen other videos where it was so difficult.
This video helped a lot ! I needed no electrical modifications at all. Just followed the instructions on video and got to install my new lights . Thanks !
Thanks for watching, Anthony! -Zach
Projectors are a MUST have if you are installing LED or HID lights, that way you can adjust the beam so on coming traffic aren't blinded.
gave those bolts all the torque
That was the first thing that I saw. The socket was made for a pneumatic tools - not good for plastic. IMO Overall good video but didn't mention anything regarding the wiring/connection
I got the ones with the shorter light bar installed but the parking lights on the outsides won’t turn on, need some help with this issue.
Any idea how to adjust the halo?
Does the C light have a blue tint to it in person or is it just the camera?
I installed these on my Tacoma and not sure if the light bar is supposed to be a DRL but any help would be appreciated
With the closed cap on the headlight, there's no way to put an LED that I have found. Any help?
So no modification to the wiring at all?
What kind of warranty for leaking and oxidation?
Can you adjust the halogen light beam? I feel mine is pointing too low. Has anyone swap out the halogen blub with a LED?
Yes, you can and have to as these come pointing down from factory. There’s two hex bolts on the back of each.
Can the turn signal bulb be replaced with a led bulb, and not have hyperflash?
It can, but the only one that will work properly is made by Lasfit. The canbus is built in the base og the bulb. They're expensive, but excellent. I've been using their bulbs for years.
How do you adjust the headlight mine seem to been to low can’t see anything in front of me
There is a Phillip's head adjuster screw on the backside of the headlight where you can adjust the beam. Hope this helps!
I bought this headlights for my 2012 taco and after year and a half the clear lens started to peel off. Not a good product
Oh no! I have a 2012… was thinking about getting these 😐
Can you change the projector headlamp bulb? For an LED?
Good question.
You can. But, make sure you know how to level and center the LED properly on a projector lens. Otherwise, the beam pattern won't be right.
Just installed them on my 2014 Tacoma but I am getting hyper flash when I use my right signal and the front indicator is completely out but the rest of the light is working. Is this a common problem? Do I need to a relay or something to prevent this from happening?
i’m not an expert but it sounds like it’s just a bad bulb
@@kenchiek4913 I replaced the bulbs and it works fine now. However the right side lens is faded and it appears to be burnt or something which is weird but they still work fine.
PPL don't use an impact gun you're asking for trouble just use a ratchet wrench...
Great video on how to swap headlight assemblies. However, I'm doing the reverse. I bought those after market assemblies and the coating they applied is peeling off, looking terrible. So, I'm going back to OEM Toyota assemblies that are boring looking but last a lifetime with proper restoration every few years or so. Plus, the light pattern on the OEM assemblies is superior. Always stick with OEM parts, including headlight assemblies. The Japanese make the best plastics.
Sorry to hear that but it sounds like those JDM parts are holding their own as they always do! Thanks for watching!
@@ExtremeTerrainToyota Not exactly. My point is that those have a terrible beam pattern and the coating that comes with them is peeling off. Looking terrible. Aside from that, hard to see at night. I believe other people have commented on the poor beam pattern and light projection.
They are so expensive though there are some similar for $250 on eBay
Don't ever buy automotive parts on eBay, or Amazon. Ever. You won't be happy. Always stay with OEM parts.
These headlights are terrible. 10/10 looks 1/10 performance. Can’t see anything at night and got condensation in the headlights 30 minutes after install
I had a pair. Just went back to stock. They were garbage
I'm so fucking happy I bought a Ford F150. Only 3 screws to replace a headlight. Not a game of twister.
These are the same thing as the specd lights and cost 100 bucks more smh
