open the selection pane and rename each circle in all the slides with the same name, all the name should start with !! for example !!circle 1, !!circle 2
The morph transition is a little bit weird with my round images... It doesn't zoom in and out how yours - it's vanishing and appearing again in smaller and bigger sides (really quick, but it doesn't gives the same effect as yours).

You have to decide if is it suitable for your presentation or not But for the academic environment, a simple presentation is always working

You need at least PowerPoint 2019
