    I've been a F2P person since the beginning of the game and I don't intend to change that and honestly if the HSR team keeps inflating the enemies' HP and I don't get all the stars from all the End Games with my current characters I won't care about that
    When I play a game I always try to have fun and honestly always replacing a character that I like with one or two stars won't be worth it for me
    I intend to continue playing HSR and hope that the story from 3.0 onwards is good 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

    they should give any boss that has a million or more a mechanic like the cook chef dino(don't remember his name) where depending on the amount of hits, dot or debufs you can get a set amount of dmg to the boss or lower their defense etc

    MoC 2.7 broke me I can’t even clear MoC 10 without it going over 10 over cycles, beforehand I could clear almost every stage now I can’t even clear it because my lack of characters. Hoolay made me regret skipping Fei for Rappa

    Since 1.0 there is no such thing as a freedom of team building u need to have the meta team to do shit

      Old characters still can clear, they just need a respective 5 star support. People still do 4 star only clears u dont need meta

      With Sunday she does well. I got a 3 cycle with her with unleveled traces, old Ice relic set (not great stats either) and S0. She can definitely get a 0 cycle if you go sustainless and have that new relic set on her

    Personally i feel like people are overblowing the issue. Other games have been doing these for years, this is not anything that will be any different to gacha players. This honestly feels like an issue for people coming in from Genshin. The HP inflation is bad for players in a sense but that is not what HSR is in its entirety. The game is more than just MOC, PF and AS. Assuming you can't clear the last stage of each mode, that is about 1-2 pulls worth over 6 weeks. People complain about not being able to use their favorite character in something that can be cleared in less than half an hour when there are plenty of content that doesn't care about it. Story, grinding, SU and DU. The actual casual playerbase probably don't even touch endgame.
    I like Kafka and i still use Kafka in everything except endgame modes. I think the game is very "generous" if pulling on the current banner is enough to clear most content.
    Also a lot of this raw HP increase argument is not including gimmicks that may make it easier to beat the boss. So while the HP is inflated, the effective HP may actually be just increased a bit over.

      @jamesfzy well said. Also, I think there is a bigger underlying issue with endgame than the HP inflation and its completely overlooked (but that will be for another video)

      nah, for new player it is much worst than you can imagine, with all the gatekeeping behind relic farming - which u can literally spend months and wont even get a good piece, trailblazer power, limited roster, and now harder bosses, every step just feel more frustrated than a veteran can ever feel,not to mention loggin in for only 5min to farm stuff and log out isnt a good game should be with all the investment. Oh, and the character u pull isnt even at its half or a third of its power, more locked contents even for light spender. You can argue how u dont need this or that, but contents is locked behind paywall, that is certain.

      You said it yourself "gimmicks" no gatcha game should make you rely purely on gimmicks only newer charavters have acces to, look at genshin, gimmicks like nightsoul or ouisia and pneuma help you with the bosses who are affected by it quite a lot, but they don't make so that if you don't have the gimmick you can't beat the boss reliably, star rail also should not inflate their hp as much because of the very nature of how a turn based combat system works over an rpg combat system, in genshin you can dodge and keep your damage consistent through your skill, in star rail the enemies landing damage on me is a guaranteed, if they have too much hp for my older character to handle it's just over, i can't work around it, i can't outplay it, i MUST get hit in order for the fight to progress, in an rpg like genshin or zzz or even honkai impact 3rd i can outplay the hp inflation by just being good, in star rail if the enemie's hp bar moves down slower than mine does i am done, I NEED to be able to drain their hp before they drain mine, in majority kf other gatcha games i can minimize or even completly avoid my own hp bar going down while theirs is huge, in star rail it is just unfair, my old characters have NO WAY of workijg around it, they were made in a time with less hp, so they have less damage so i lose and i must pull newer characters with more, in genshin there is NOT A SINGLE CHARACTER that is absolete and unusable in floor 12, in star rail all of them are doomed to this fate if this is how they handle dificulty, by just ramping up enemy hp and the newer character's damage

      "End game" in gachas is something that has to entertain you untill new patch comes out in games like Genshin or HSR. End game shouldn't be gatekept by newer and stronger characters or spending hours to have an insane RNG with weak characters. Let's think it from a perspective of a player who played the game for several months. "Oh, I got Jing yuan" but turns out you HAVE to pulls for supports like sunday and robin just to make him work in end game content. I've started playing around Black Swan's and Kafka's rerun. When I got them oh, it turns out I also have to have LCs, Eidolons or broken Supports like RN or Robin just to have a CHANCE to clear end game content. On the other hand my friend who pulled Feixiao and Acheron (we started playing at the same time) can already clear end game content with ease. So yeah, HP inflation and powercreep in HSR is a real problem that shouldn't be in the first place for a gacha. On the other hand in GI there is no such thing as "you have to pull this limited characters, god knows when is his rerun" to make them work

    I think the only end game content that needs a specific or stronger team would be AS, other than that I don't think the other 2 need a specific team. Just matching weakness would be enough.

    honestly idc anymore about getting that 36 stars. 33-35 stars suffices enough. like in my dream i saw that the new boss has over 9 mill hp, which is insane my dream btw. It aint worth getting a character worth 90 potentially 180 pulls which could be 28880 jades, which would takes almost 500 moc ( just that last star reward).

    My traces aren't maxed yet and i'm endgame can clear all content easily. Most traces on many of my characters on average is level 8 lol. The people that complain are the ones who take month long breaks and come back..Now there's nothing wrong with that it's just that those persons are the TRUE casuals lol...the ones that dont even touch any endgame content at all maybe they clear first stage and that's it lol...yea it'll seem pretty tough for them. But that's honestly a skill issue imo...just level up your characters to max, farm some relics for a couple days until you find a decent few you can use. I mean yea it does suck relic farming but keep trying everytime you log in....The game really isnt that hard to clear. Ofc i am not in anyway a casual i play everyday farm relics and stuff constantly and clear all endgames modes. Been playing since release as well.

      Fr even with one Meta team (hyperliu) and a trash random go bs team can clear moc10… I think I’m good (don’t talk about the relics) so if my characters were built better, then yeah (I agree)

    I don't get this attitude expecting endgame content to stay the same difficulty as the game ages.
    The very hardest content in gacha games is always balanced towards whales or new characters or both. The balance is actually really good in Star Rail. Other games are a lot more obnoxious with HP inflation.
    A live service game will not grow if the numbers remain the same. They must become harder, otherwise the only reason to pull becomes aesthetics, and if that happens the game will lose more and more money, signalling its inevitable death.

      I get that HP inflation is actually a real difficulty increase. Because it adds a layer of RNG to runs (if fights go on longer, you will get to actually experience turn based as it should be experienced). Without planning perfect runs before the actual combat happens. In all honesty, I even complimented it back when the current Pure Fiction came out. This is mostly my thoughts about what I'm seeing online and the general consensus for the majority of the playerbase.
      Me personally, I see a bigger underlying issue with endgame which started back when Apocalyptic Shadow came out (but that's for a whole different video)
