Fantastic version. I used to be awoken in the mornings on occasions by the bag pipes playing this as reveille being a serving member of an Irish Regiment in the British Army.

Интересно, что Ульяна решила все-таки сымитировать игру на флейте пикколо или еще точнее, на так называемой penny-whistle или tin whistle флейте. С момента времени 1:51 мы это слышим. Далее фрагмент исполняется на повышенном строе, имитируя игру на penny-whistle. Профессор Базельской и Фрейбургской Академий музыки - Феликс Ренггли услышал и по достоинству оценил этот прием (3:36).

The comments are quite right, I have listened to James Galway performance (1994 version). Yours is indeed better - slower with more feeling and it better suits the song.
I have been looking for the music score but all the versions I find don't shift octaves like in your performance. Please kindly comment on where I can get the music. Thank-you for sharing..
