Hey! I do that to my button ups all the time. To add to the overall aesthetic, the shirt is a bit oversized - mine are like this, too. It's harder to achieve this look with a more fitted button-up, but feel free to give it a try if that's all you have! It looks like for her specifically, the two or three middle buttons are buttoned, and the rest are not. What I do is I put on my shirt and leave the bottom 1 or 2 buttons undone, then I tuck in only one side. If it looks weird and doesn't have the nice flowly and effortless look, then I go ahead and unbutton one more and try it again until I achieve my desired look!

The H&M linen pants do come with a thin waistband. I believe it's the Divided brand that has them. I prefer the thicker band so I sold the other ones.
