One thing about you Kyle it doesn’t matter what the weather is. You’re always willing to work hard for your family. I wish you all the best on the remaining of this cabin. Take care.
Kyle, You exemplify how good a real man is. I am old now and I possess wisdom, you and your family are amazing. Your builds are well engineered by you. I like the two trailer beams for the small cabin. Keep them at least eight inches above the ground. Floor joints for me was always easy. For every foot of span I would use a beam that was one inch wide per foot of run. Then over twelve , trusses or laminated beams. You are building quite the grandest property. It will grow wealth for you and your family as the years pass. You have a beautiful family and we wish you all a Merry Christmas and Gods blessings.
That's a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be!!! You work so hard, and your work is so nice!! You are a very talented carpenter!!! God Bless!!!!!🙏❤️🙏
Wow. You put the floor down all in one day in the cold snow, and your batteries died just in time. It's going to be a really nice cabin, Kyle 👍 Charge up those batteries, man ! 👍👍
Yes, it is a beautiful spot for a cabin❗️🌲 Kyle gets things done, he says he’s going to do something and there is no wasting time. He worked real hard this summer clearing out an old mobile home. One smart young man‼️🌲
Hey new dad how you and new mama doing?Enjoy that new baby. They grow up so fast.Skeeter is such a good boy and I'm sure him and Stanley will be best buds.
You should make youtube playlists for your different cabin builds/build series. It would just make it really easy for viewers to catch up on a build if they missed some of the first "episodes". Just a thought! :D love your vids!
I like the playlists because I can just hit play all and then mute the videos and go to sleep or run errands. Then I logout of UA-cam and run the playlist again so that my favorite UA-camr get the watch time and $$$$
All good. Just like I build. The steel beams. Built with them before. Scab on some wood with bolts and run a brace board between the two beams maybe four places four foot centers. Toenail it up into the bottom of the floor joists. It's not going anywhere but it could use a little stability in case of high winds and snow load. Once those floor joists are secured that takes a lot of twist potential out of the structure. All good from east KY USA
The drive, the property, and the cabin location look amazing! Great work on the floor! The other advantage of the blocking is that it ties the joists together, which stabilizes the floor and distributes weight across multiple joists. 😀
Kyle. I have lived in the woods or on farms in northwest Wisconsin for most of my 59 years. I myself would have saved the roofing from the trailer. I would have laid it over the frame before building the floor deck. And then secured it to the underside of the 2x6s. That prevents rodents ever getting in from underneath. And it also either holds insulation in the floor. Or creates a deadair space. Other then that suggestion. I enjoy watching your builds.
Good morning Kyle, it’s always a pleasure to watch one of your videos your explanations on what and why your doing something is easy to understand and to follow along for someone using your videos for their own personal benefit and on how to do it themselves 😊😊😊😊😊
LOVE watching your videos! I grew up with a dad who was like you and could do anything. You’re one impressive guy. Thanks for teaching us how to do things. 😊
You're a hard worker. I would have stacked two 2x6 pieces flat with bolts, washers and nuts to secure the floor framing to the steel beams. Gonna be a great cabin in a beautiful setting!
Great.video. That cabin will be beautiful sitting where you have it. Build a beautiful cabin, enjoy it a little and then sell the property for a good profit. You are a brilliant young.man!!
Kyle, I can't even believe you are out there in -8(?) building a cabin! But, there you are!🥶 Thank You for freely sharing your awesome wisdom and knowledge with us. ❤ Moments literally frozen in time!
Kyle, learning more from you than I did from watching my dad do many construction projects. He never explained the "why" of certain aspects of building like you do.
I live in East TN. How in the world do you withstand such cold? I enjoy watching you but know I could never do what you do in the coldest weather. You are a trooper. The baby Stanley is precious. Best Wishes
My suggestion for you and the battery issue is. Bring a power station with you and an electric blanket. Will keep you and everything toasty warm. Cover yourself up in the blanket during lunch or breaks. Cover or wrap the batteries up in the blanket. Plus the power station can recharge your extra batteries while you are still working.
One thing about you Kyle it doesn’t matter what the weather is. You’re always willing to work hard for your family. I wish you all the best on the remaining of this cabin. Take care.
You and bushradical are my favorite UA-camrs by far .. thank you Kyle
Good videos, no frills. Reminds me that there are still some hardworking young people out there. Give that baby a hug and a kiss. They grow up fast.
Your videos bring me a lot of peace during a time of chaos.
Me too NoDecaf7, me too!
I admire you so much. You make sure your family is taken care of before you head out to do the amazing work that you do. Really enjoy your videos .
So glad you have such a good life. Your son, Stanley, will have two great models to share. It’s fun watching you work. 🎉
Enjoy your videos and family!! Can’t wait to watch Stanley grow!!
For the batteries in the cold try putting them in a small cooler with hand warmers to keep them warm while not in use & preserve their charge.
That is a great idea 👍.

You are have so much experience and common sense! You live in a beautiful area!!
