John Deere Deck Leveling TESTED: What Works BEST!

John Deere deck leveling can be condensed down into two methods according to the owner’s manual: leveling based off the deck housing and leveling based off the actual height of the blade. I test both methods side by side using two different leveling gauges to see which method is best!

Thanks for the video and the explanation. I have cut three pieces of wood (curtain pole) the same height as the “inbuilt” level gauge to use those when leveling - that makes it a little easier, quicker and you don’t risk losing that original gauge.
