Hello, merci d'avoir pris le temps enfin d'écouter lara ,tu ne sera jamais déçu. Continue avec le même concert lara from love. Caruso, perdere amor en italien . Broken vow, you're from here en anglais.
Thanks for sharing this great reaction. Lara is simply perfection and no other singer moves me the way she does. Such a storyteller with the voice of an angel. 🥰
Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonata, concerto or symphony that is using that specific pace. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and gave his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music compositions, mostly operatic, and different lyrics (the band Renaissance, Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in italian then co-wrote the english lyrics for it and is the original performer of these 2 versions. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Julie Anne San Jose, Charice Penpengco, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. ua-cam.com/video/bqoS-KOLV_4/v-deo.html Her italian version is also amazing. A famous italian version: ua-cam.com/video/qf7xcMN-TYI/v-deo.html Or you can check her recent excellent renditions: - in Zagreb, late april 2024 (italian) : ua-cam.com/video/06WOD2AxTTM/v-deo.htmlsi=pXrU2vQ1Lrca2PTs - In London, Royal Albert Hall, with Hauser playing cello, on May 9th 2024 (english): ua-cam.com/video/ikWpOJT4y9g/v-deo.htmlsi=WSoA4RXiw-TMmRNv

Thank you for this reaction from this true gem of song that is Lara Fabian!!! Dimash and Diana grew up listening to Lara because she became a real Star in Russia, in collaboration with the composer Igor Krutoy who absolutely wanted to work with her following a concert by Lara there.
Ciao, un'altra straordinaria canzone in inglese di questo fantastico concerto FROM LARA WITH LOVE ......è TO LOVE AGAIN e non riesco a capire perché sono solo pochi reattori a reagire a questa splendida canzone. Ciao e tanti saluti dall'italia.
This was a fantastic and legendary Concert. ❤ I love both Lara's Adagio and Dimash's Adagio. Completely different but equally good.❤ Lara is "Emotive Poetry in Motion" in every live performance. A true Angel of the stage. Gives me goosebumps every time.👍 Am excited to see what Lara performance you will choose next.😂 🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
I love both Lara and Dimash. And yes she is known to be a very humble and benevolent woman. But a small correction on your statements: Lara did not create these songs with Dimash. Lara created Mademoiselle Hyde with Igor in 2010. The same year and in the same album they released Je t’aime encore and vocalize/ascolta la voce. A russian version was created from je t’aime encore in 2014 and became Love of Tired Swans. Lara was the original performer of this russian version. Dimash covered these songs 4 years later when he met Igor and they started to collaborate. Lyrics were added for him to Vocalize, initially a pure vocalization by Lara, and it became Know. And finally Lara (lyrics) and Igor (music) created Your Love for Dimash.
Great analysis of the incredible Lara, please check out "Caruso" and "Broken Vow" from the same concert. Also another fantastic young singer you should definitely consider reacting to is 20 year old Lucy Thomas from the UK. Many reactors seem to believe that she has one of the most beautiful voices in the world today.

The Letter
Write me a break-up letter
Explaining all the reasons to me
That have caused your nature to fade
That have made me mix up all the seasons
Chose your words wisely, choose the right ones
Like an artisan takes his time
To adjust everything
Write me a break-up letter
Send me only the rough draft
I promise, I will not interpret anything into the things you’ve crossed out
Write me a letter with a pencil
Write it like you would write music
Sacrifice me to the gods
Of long forgotten love affairs
Even if leaving while the other one stays
Hurts your feelings
It could also be an act of kindnes
Unless one of the two lies of course
Write me a break-up letter
Like when one grows tired of using words at home
I will not mark your mistakes
I will not see the mistakes you made in joining the words
I would go and look for them myself
If I wasn’t so sure
Not so sure that I love you
For us forever, for us maybe
Leave me some illusions
When you write me this letter
Don’t sign it or use a wrong signature
