I was playing the beginning with my friend and just got to the music box. My Grandmother came by and asked what that beautiful music was. She was slightly taken aback when I said a game im playing. That day she finally understood why I play jrpgs.
This game has THE most beautiful story ever written for a video game accompanied by the most beautiful soundtrack. A real diamond in the rough that just needed a little more time and money to truly shine for everyone, but I love it just the way it is. In a way, the second disk being them looking back to what happened works for the story, and the two similar stories of Fei and Elly recounting how they have loved each other through the generations is both heartbreaking and comforting at the same time.
I'm crying now, i remember my childhood when i play the game, while my mom's preparing my uniform and breakfast before i go to school, i really miss that time, when everything just right and there's no problem at all, Thank you for this beautiful melody you play
My favorite game of all time, for the story, but also my favorite soundtrack of any games. I really appreciate the time you spent recently on Xenogears. I would really love to hear a medley of the game from you one day. It would be for sure my most watch video of all time 😅.

That feeling, Citan's words, and the song itself just awakened some primal feeling within me. All because of a game I got on a total whim one day at Blockbuster.

This arrangement kind of combines both, which is really great: first half being the music box, second half being credits.
