Though I’m an Urbosa main, I’ve been trying out Daruk lately. He’s fun. Hits hard, rolls into a ball when he sprints, and when in a sprint, pressing X launches him into the air, and crashing down on some poor Bokoblin.

This theme is too good. The timing of the beats is in perfect time with a purposeful marching pace, the brass conveys confidence and swagger, the notes DROPPING so suddenly at intervals conveys Daruk's weight as his foot would make contact with the floor, the percussion is both strong and playful. It's so well thought out, and so hard not to sway along to

If you listen real closely you can hear the leitmotif for kakariko village from twilight princess... I think it's probably because...you know death mountain is so close to it in damn near every game except botw...

When I play Hyrule Warriors with my brother we always say that Daruk does the Spindash from Sonic the Hedgehog and Yunobo does the Spintornado from Crash Bandicoot
