Still hoping a full set of the entire series will be released on disk. I would buy that.
I cried with laughter watching this one! Just amazing!
They are simply the best ever ! Love them !
Stanley Rogers - LEGEND.
I love the horse box sketch , i always remember that when driving past horse boxes
Loved it when Griff was driving in the car saying he couldn't find a heart donor - then he hits the cyclist. Hilarious !
Under-sung heroes of comedy....absolutely brilliant.
15:50 - "Have your Apocalypse Now, don't be a procrastinator!". Well, you did see the apocalypse thing coming from the start, but the 'procrastinator' really hit it out of the ballpark.

Always liked the head to heads.
I noticed the Great Raymondo who was Requels dancing partner in Only fools and Horses in some of the sketches.
That was Robin Driscoll, who was a very important part of the Mr Bean team on ITV. He and Rowan Atkinson were and still are close friends, and when Rowan started work on Mr Bean, he made sure he had Robin with him.
Love the Gandhi song. Singing it all day!
too funny
Definitely stood the test of time 😹
Timothy's school fees have gone up again!
is it just me or is there a sneaky resemblance between griff and hugh grant.s and j are school for bouts and fits of hearty laughs and crooked smiles.separated at birth 1980 81
At the end of one of the earlier installments, Mel goes to some trouble to tell Griff how he looks like Hugh Grant's older, uglier, fatter brother.
Colouring in the squares! That's how it's done! I've been doing sudoku all wrong.
So you're up for the match?
Naw, I fell asleep on the BBQ ....!
The look on Mel's face at 15:22 and 15:35.
Also just love the kid's book sketch. Looks like the Classic 'In at the deep end' was slighty cut. Pity but still very funny.
Massage lady - Sarah Alexander. So cute.
Yes you can see her in"Coupling"for example
Fantastic
What is the music over the very quicky sketches and the very funny climax in the supermarket called?
warning! Genius at work! Who wrote this?
I got pissed and got kicked out of the schindler's list
20:34 - 20:51 Griff's daughter's acting in that sketch was good.
I googled her to see what she looked like in 2020.
@@warpnin3 Did you find it?
@@danielwilliamson6180 I found two pics: one of her as a teenager, and another of her as a wife who had just had her third child
@@warpnin3 I tried looking myself. Didn't find anything.
What's the song during the yellow pages advert? Thanks
That's a very young Sarah Alexander!
17:55 Yellow Pages. LMMFAO.
I didn't understand the sketch where Griff where was reading the book to the little girl....
+mistofoles "There's his saucer with the milk. But he's not drinking it, what's he doing?" "He's playing with the BALL(s)". That's what you've got to expect from a snip at 4.50 ;-).
+mistofoles I think he's stating that the book's a rip-off.
# Me old mate Ghandi.#
When was this show?
2006
@@johnking5174 thank you for replying after 2 years
2006 for this retrospective show, however being ancient I remember the original broadcast of these sketches was around 1990 or so.
It ran from 1984 to 1988 on BBC 2 then from 1989 to 1998 on BBC 1
Sarah Alexander as the nurse
1:52 Griff in bed with a sheep?! So he is a Welshman after all.
It was the 90s. For some reason sheep were an instant laugh back then.
@@andrewmorrice9139 in the 90s I really prized my screensaver called Sheep vs Gravity. You can imagine what that was all about and yes, it was hilarious.
