    10-12 mn max to pre check and take off, very good job on explaining everything properly. Real instructors they take between 20-25 to pre check and take off 😢

    Nice video, well thought out and made. I don't think the oil temp is well modeled on this plane. Looks like it went from "comfortable" (at about 8:40) to "toasty" (9:05) in 25 seconds. I don't remember it heating up anywhere near that fast on the real plane.

    Great video, very good detail, but when you turned on the battery switch for pre-flight checks, you also turned on the alternator. idk why I'm pointing this out srry.

      Good catch, I was actually trained to do it that way in real life. Never thought about it until you pointed it out, thanks!

    When you set trim to takeoff, what reference are you using to know if it’s correct? It looked like you simply moved the wheel arbitrarily.

    • @Turbochuck
      @Turbochuck  2 роки тому

      Normally there would be a mark, but I don't think there is one in game so I was just moving it arbitrarily.

    Any idea where in setting I can turn off the auto start up on console? I want to actually start up the plane myself but as soon as I get in it’s already ready to go everytime

    Hello. Interesting tutorial but i would like to ask something. My flight instructor told me that Battery Master should be turned on, the engine started and only then should the Alternator be turned on as well. Despite this i see everyone in the tutorials swithching both on at the same time. Why is that?

    When I log into the flight line, the aircraft is alrdy started up for me. How do I change the setting to where from the beginning nothing is set up to do exactly what you did?
    Thank you.

    All that reflective glass on the instruments make it awful dull & dark on the whole panel.
    I prefer the FSX bright displays of the gauges

    Please help.When i swtch on the master to check instrumentation ,
    the fuel tanks stay empty how do i fill them?

    • @Turbochuck
      @Turbochuck  2 місяці тому

      You can hover over the top center of the screen to get the menu and select the fuel & payload section (it should look like a weight). Then you can increase the fuel to 100%.

    Hi, could you please hint on what I may be doing wrong… when taking off my airspeed just does not increase

    • @Turbochuck
      @Turbochuck  3 роки тому

      You may have the parking brake on, since it's set by default. Ctrl + NumPad Period will set/un-set it. You can also me release the parking brake in this video at 5:44.

    Hello, i am new at this, i have a question my cessna 152 trainer is out of fuel, nothing i can find that shows me how to refuel.can you HELP?

    • @Turbochuck
      @Turbochuck  Рік тому

      If you hover the cursor over the top of the screen, you should see a weight icon (second from the right). Click that to open the Weight and Balance screen and drag the fuel slider to 100%.

    Is this instruction completely realistic to what you’d do in flight training?

    • @Turbochuck
      @Turbochuck  11 місяців тому

      Pretty close. It's mostly just missing the exterior inspections you'd do during pre-flight.

    I’m still having a hard time not flipping over the plane on its left side during the rotate phase of takeoff. I understand P-Factor and Torque and I am using right rudder to keep stable, but everything goes to 💩 when I rotate up at 50 airspeed. It seems I keep getting a wing stall and fall out of the sky and flip left. Any tips on fixing this issue?

    • @Turbochuck
      @Turbochuck  Рік тому +1

      First thing I'd try is waiting until 65 knots for takeoff and reducing your angle of attack on the initial climb out. With full power, try to adjust your climb angle so that your airspeed stays around 70-75 knots. I've never had torque/p-factor be strong enough to flip the plane, but you can go to Assistance Options >> Piloting >> Auto-Rudder to get some help with that.

    • @danslitadventure
      @danslitadventure Рік тому

      @@Turbochuck lol I have the ability to flip the plane from torque and PFactor in both MFS and DCS 😂
      Will take your advice though. The more I think about it, the more I believe my AoA is too strong and my wing stalls out.
