I get so into the game when I'm playing that I barely even notice the soundtrack until the guitar goes electric. Listening to these tracks separately really drives home how well they work with the game as a whole. Darren Korb is a musical genius.
I have to listen to the tracks on youtube to start appreciating then consciously.
Hearing Hades tracks that I've never heard before puts such a chill down my spine... I don't know what this entails, where this takes place, and it makes me so excited to see it for myself. Thank you everyone at Supergiant for such a delight of a game. In these dark times where depression and pain rule supreme, you're a gentle caress of comfort. Thank you

@@dfgfgfdg8335 the second half is. for every area track the first half is normal battles throughout the area and the second half is the boss
@@safep4683 Additionally, the music tracks that play in the first and second half of each region (before and after the miniboss) is randomized, so you can might any one of Asphodel's tracks while fighting Hydra

The minigame in Pyre was meh, but not enough to stop me from enjoying and completing the game. Their other works have had compelling art, music, story, and gameplay with plenty of soul.

On my 13th run and finally got past the Bone Hydra! Facing off against it while this cacophony of sounds was assaulting my eardrums seriously upped the scale of sheer epicness past the max limit!
Hades was hands down one of the best games I've ever played and I've played over a thousand of them.I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!This was amazing guys

I heard a new soundtrack while i was fighting the hydra, and immediately hopped over to see what was new; I THINK this is played for that fight, but am unsure
It occasionally plays against the Bone Hydra and plays against the Circle of Witches.

Love these long tracks
The first part of this track reminds me of the music from Homeworld, and that's a very good thing. This is one of my favorites on the album for sure.

I think this is the Bone Hydra theme, and I have to say I'm pretty sure the melody of this is a direct reference to the Gohma battle theme from LoZ: The Wind Waker. The two bosses share a similar appearance, and also are both protruding from lava. Could be a coincidence, but I'm not so sure!

something i think is pretty neat about hades
the bone hydra is the boss of the region ashodel, a place where for the ordinary man who wasn’t a great hero but also wasn’t a vile criminal. which makes sense because you can’t compare a human concept like morality to an animal since it isn’t truly sentient!
