Anti Nowhere League and Toy Dolls are still my favourite punk bands.
I believe both Animal and Olga will be killing it on stage until they die. ❤️❤️
Legend animal. Your music is still loved today. And the lyrics 👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧🤘
One of my fav punk albums of all time the League debut.... Wall to wall bangers
Saw these guys support the Damned '79/80, they got bottled by the crowd, but they stood and played, fair play.
Seeing them in dublin 83 he kick A punk in the head at the front of the stage well he was drag of stage and got a kicking for it, they never came back to dublin after it
@@Xrp944 you're lying, it was you that got the kicking. people are still talking about how you bottled it. i am not even going to start on winchcombe... 🤯
Man I love despite being an "animal" he STILL has manners and respect. As seen @ 3:12 . Such a stand-up guy. 🤘😎

Great vid and interview!! Erin you do a great job! :)
He seems like a really easy interview or guy to talk to in general.
The Greatest Punk Rock Swindle
Saw them live supported the Damned in 1980 in shrewsbury
He actually seems to be relaxed, based, nice, well articulate guy. Not what i would have exected from his stage personality.
Fucking legend that one
Long live punk!
God what I would do to see them here in Florida
Erin in an Adicts shirt in front of Animal... that's a thumbs up in itself, aside from this being an awesome interview! ❤️
Rare Animal!
I'd rather see old people having fun instead of sitting around waiting for the vicar
love this guy, kept me rockin through alot of uncretain times. anti nowhere league 4 ever thanks Nick!!!
....i had a chat with him a fw years ago after a gig in yorkshire - turns out he's loaded
Funny you should say that,I remember hearing back in the 1980`s that he is from quite a wealthy middle class family.
Never seen a sea urchin give an interview before. Lol good video!
I think the gear kicked in as the interview started.
Cool costume there, Erin.
Madre mía...como para ir a un oficina.
Nick Chalmers aka Animal is an awesome dude.
RIP animal
🎼
Don't get too close to animals Erin, rumors have it they bite!!! ;-)
Old school never died
I would be more apt to watch more of her vids and subscribe, if it didn't seem like she was exactly what H20 was talking about...
Also annoying to hear her just nod and say Yay..and not offer any insight whatsoever. If she has a writer...she needs a new one. Otherwise I don't see this "career" going much further. I know that may seem harsh, but just being 100. She could have some potential under the right direction.
Animal.is a top bloke....massive respect to him and the league...sorry to hear of him being glassed by some twat recently..and I hope the fucker who did it gets sorted very soon for his cowardly attack...
Punk rock lives and dies by the league.
When Nik ain't in is band he's building walls round Kent , that's why he's so fit for is age , great guy ....
She says “yeah” a LOT!!!!
I agree with that guy the most punk rockers like myself are in England and Europe I'm proud to be a black European Punk ska in America that catching up but they're still slow
The best punk bands are in England and Europe that's where the real punk bands are awesome hard and strong and very political I love it and anti-government anti-media anti-mainstream as I am I'm very very proud to be Punk ska Punk that is
@@jladams85 Disagree with you, my friend. I don't want The Ramones. Look more like a rock band not a punk band.
@@jladams85when it comes to punk the Ramones are way down the list. Americans don't understand the class difference and that is what punk is all about!!!
I saw these before they had a record out in the80s they blew the damned away, who were headlining
Love this anti nowhere league animal ledgends
Best of luck to Shady
Ya....ya...
He mentions punk a lot, but when I first saw them back in 1981 they hated punks. They were seen as a bikers band.
I saw the ANL in 1981 supporting the Damned. Have to confess I didn't approve of them. Seems like a piece of history now.
WTF he burped and said excuse me he’s going soft
Zi, todo e mafavillozo.
hes a property developer, punk rocks his hobby
Interview sponsored by Hot Topic
Check out the ForzaMilan interview it’s waaaaay better than this one. The interviewer ask’s really good questions unlike the banal tripe served up here. I learnt so much about the band that I’ve never heard before! Check it out ppl!
So fukin what
Oi! Oi! Oi!
She should've talked about the unfortunate era of his career.
got told this band was a racist band,i fucking lolz so hard
Am I the only one who subscribes to this because she looks fit, apart from the hair.
She persists despite the hatred within " punk " snobs. Cheers to Erin. 🍻🖤
"I do not analyze other peoples Punkrock, they do their thing.." - makes agressive Song against how Homosexuals and Trans-People are accepted in society/the scene.
For me, Punk Rock is all about dealing with things honestly with no pretentions, or pretentiousness, it's about giving the establishment the "two-fingered salute", it's about living life, it's about speaking your mind and not being afraid to speak your mind, it's also about standing up for what you believe in.
Punk is thoroughly pretentious.
"Dealing with things _honestly?_ No pretentions?" I have no words.
Naw, it’s about conforming with the rest of the punk movement and saying the ‘right’ things to fit in with the group think. John Lydon and Animal are exceptions but the vast majority of these guys hold identical opinions about matters which disappointingly are the same views trumpeted by global corporations.
@@wattage2007 Yes and thank you. That's why I'm not a punker. I'm not hardcore, either. I'm passionate about, and enjoy the music and the live performances. Or I don't. It's all about the song, the music, the band & show and how I feel when it's happening. Second in importance is any positive life change I might experience resulting from this music, and the history of the music (which I'm fascinated with). Kevin Seconds of the awesome band 7 Seconds said it well in the song New Wind; "I'm not a punker, I'm just a human being with an urge to exercise what's in my heart and mind."
@@Fire_ov_Renewal Keith Morris and Jello Biafra know all about that subject
