So many old school gadgets come to mind. For me, the one that stands out to me is the "palm pilot" devices. I had a variant made by Handspring that had a hardware expansion slot in the back (think Gameboy) that enabled all sorts of cool tricks. These devices definitely paved the way for smart phones as we know them today.
My favorite gadget was my Sony Clie PDA, with the swivel screen. I loved that thing to death -- literally. The swivel hinge proved to be its Achilles heel.
Please can you take some pictures ? I might have a problem with my earphone once you remove the silicon rubber piece does both of your earphones have black cover over the earphones to stop dirt getting into them ? Only 1 of my earphones has a black cover over it so I don't know if it's the same for the others please can you let me know ?
Just discovered your channel and loving your reviews 👍.. Request - can you please do a 'Stu's Choice' video and recommend the best wearables / gadgets that you have reviewed? Also is that a Xaomi or Samsung smartwatch that you are rocking?
I like these a lot Stu and will be asking my wife for them for Fathers' Day here in the US. As designs form the past, I miss the look of the dashboards from the Plymouth Laser, Eagle Talon, and Mitsubishi Eclipse - the way they were angled towards the driver was ahead of its' time.
Stu: I once saw a Jabra prototype of the Elite 75t’s that were completely transparent… and they were awesome. Have been since searching for a transparent earbud. Any ideas?
@@StusReviewsUK Thanks. Saw those. Was excited when I saw the headlines… but I don’t want a stalk. (I realise I sound like a stroppy princess) I used to use MeElectronics M6 transparent and they were Stealthy (capital S), but so far no bud-maker has followed suit.
The first thing that truly blew my mind as a … let's say, kid … was the first (?) analog controller for the Sony PSX, the Namco NeGcon: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NeGcon Playing the original wip3'out" w/ that thing was crazy.
There’s a limit to what I’ll except as crazy but still good… and those monstrous things not only cross that line, but have been fired so far across the line that they’ve landed in no man’s land. As in no man will buy them. Ever.
@@StusReviewsUK My thought was they are channeling Hannibal Lecter (and not in a good way). I agree with your assessment, they are just a step (flight) too far
I'm drawn to unique tech. I have some lg phones with dual displays and the lg wing. I also have some transparent powerbanks. The transparent tech design of yesteryears are the ones I miss. From pc monitors, headphones, gameboys. I think transparent stuff are making a comeback tho.
I'd love to see more transparent stuff! Nintendo have never really stopped... its just more mainstream stuff has opted for a more premium look (so they can sell it at a more premium price)!!
Just got them and im REALLY happy i got them! The sound quality is awesome and they look just as good.
Subscribed for the beer and tech combo 😂👌🏼

The palm pilots were great!
Them are cool, I love the design and the fact it opens bottles as well, Genius
I know right! I walk around with a bottle opener on my keys… this kills two birds with one stone!
I’d say these are the most Stu’s Reviews earphones I’ve ever seen, batshit crazy but highly functional
I don’t know what you’re talking about 👹
EVERYTHING should come with a built in bottle opener!
Just got these as a bday gift from my wife. In a green and yellow gradient. Newer seen them before, but she clearly knows how much I love cyberpunk
Did you order them online? How long do they take to come in?? just curious
Giving and reminding me of vibes I got from those Frankenstein radio modular ikea radios. Pretty cool.

Wow that things cool! I don’t remember seeing those!
I'm so mad I had 2 of those but I was into selling and not collecting at the time. Damnit🤣
Best design of the past that I want back is the Sidekick. Just want that keyboard back so badly lol.

I just found a pair of these in the grass outside my high school. Score!

Great idea! I’ll add that to the list! It’s the Xiaomi S1 active (did a review a week or so ago 👍)
Thanks Stu. Great review. 👍🏻
what are the earbuds themselves made of? zinc alloys like the case or plastic?
Thanks. I've decided. Getting them soon😁🤝🏻
YEAH! This is how the CyberMen get ya!
Step by Step one lil augmentation one after another. 😬

Do they have a microphone built in for when your gaming so you can talk to people ?
The NeGcon was unusual… but brilliant! I wish they’d bring out a new version. The Philips Discoverer ‘Space Helmet’ TV was definitely wacky.
Just had to Google that TV… wow! That’s nearly as outrageous as the shrek one…
This is fine because I use my voice assistant about once every decade or so
Eh Stu. Like a kid with a new toy! 😂
Cool design.

You won’t get completely transparent, but take a look at ‘nothing ear 1’. (Although I’m sure I’ve read they aren’t the best)

Gameboy in the 90's playing true lies. TIME CRYSIS GUN and game for ps1.
Playing desert/soviet strike on commodore 64 or Amiga
Are they better than airpod pros?
Have you seen Dyson's new ANC headphones?

Great gear and for someone with ADHD they tick all the boxes!
because no reviewer talks in depth about the movie mode which is supposed to simulate surround sound !!
earbuds itself copy/paste of momentum 2
Second to comment!

Another chicken dinner!
@@StusReviewsUK watched this on the new imac. Absolutely killer device. The headphones are like something from cyberpunk.
@@Badonicus Which colour? 👀
@@StusReviewsUK Silver....clean. 16gb ram 8core GPU version. Lightroom gobbles up the ram.
Very bad after 5 monthe sound change and voice law and mic law
Don’t waste your time.
Almost 2 minutes in and nothing but Yadda Yadda Yadda about nothing.
Gave up from boredom…
Sorry you have the attention span of a 2 year old.
