Outstanding.saw this guy in gullivers.Manchester.awesome in the northern quarter.last night of his tour.evdd EEs n got 3 for 1 on his merchandise as nd got to speak to the godlike figure that he is
There's a weird aesthetic pleasure I get from knowing a 'full' sounding act like this got there despite being a trio. All members have to be so creative to not fall into the trap of emaciation, especially when Steve solos, true talent.
Saw steve in gullivers , manchester.120 people in the crowd.absolute master at his craft.even got the pleasure of speaking to him.l bartered a tee shirt and 2a cd for £20 and he said let him have em from over my shoukder,I told him he was like a god up on stage like r0the painting someone gave him in the crowd the loghts made him such a colourfiul characature of himself.spinetremblongly beautiful
THIS is the song from McDonald's "Still The Same" commercial! I had to Shazam that intricate riff, it sounded like Fairport Convention or some other early 70s folk rock. Glad I found this song and artist Steve Gunn--that minimalist arrangement with clawhammer guitar has an unexpected force to it, works out well!
One day, way in the future, maybe ... I´ll be able to stop listening to this song. Altrough, most likely I shouldn´t ... or want to. Its simply perfect.
lovely, and obviously inspired by Mike Cooper's classic early 70s albums, 'Trout steel' and 'Do I know You?' the two musicians recorded an album together. Mike Cooper -- Do I Know You? 1970 (Full Album)
Hi S G! I was/were (some musicans "sometimes" do not enjoy juz pH"ake worlds in juz em words.... ) at you're gig in Stockholm Swe Then some years ago n enjoyd how u communicated with those mobile-phone-recorders: "Wtf are you doing (isch), did'nt u guys come here to watch the show??!!" :) Me my selph enjoi you're art #hz #feel #ins #stevevai #stevegunn 🤗💐🕺👌🐋🔮🕯😗 Love U Guys!!
Just found out about this guy by way of the documentary on Iris Apfel and discovered, weirdly, he's from the town in PA that I just moved into (very small town). Too bad his site (www.steve-gunn.com/shows/) doesn't list any upcoming shows. Why not?
he lives in Brooklyn now, no longer a Lansdale boy. but he's got an album coming in 2016 so I'd imagine he'll play some shows soon. also he played Brooklyn in December

Not to be THAT guy, but the nice people of Lansdowne (from where both Vile and Gunn hail) don't much appreciate being confused the decidedly different (i.e., pastoral, some would say fancy) Lansdale; and I understand the feeling is mutual. They're just too polite to say anything (as is obvious from the fact that your comment is now a year old).
Steve we still listen to this day bud keep playing

Would like to have the entire lyric. Can't get the entire text just by hearing, can someone help me on this? Thanks a lot.
That was a bit epic :)
Anyone know what tuning this is?? Help a brother out!!
Is this drop D tuning ?
Just hits me with acoustic Beatlesk and zeppilnistic influences... I hope someone turns these into Hendrixonian experiencicity!!
It would be nice if they replace the guitar on a sitar

Haunting!
