Pretty easy - I'd add this into the OpenTX tutorials I'm doing, but I think that's a bit niche. Lots of ways of doing it, but here's an easy one. Take copy the mix you have on throttle currently and copy it to the next slot down. You'll see a += symbol and it's still under ch 3. Edit this and change the source mix to a switch and then change the weight to something appropriate, let's say 10 for an idle. If you scroll down, make sure Multiplex is set to add. What you'll get when you flick that switch is the throttle adding on that amount - essentially giving you an idle up

I’ll try that later now I know it didn’t brick it. I doubt these releases will actually brick it!
I just got my T12 pro about a mo ago used it about 2-3 times and what your talking about happened today but it's more then what you said it does it without a timer or anything talking and sometimes it won't even keep signal it will say telemetry lost telemetry recovered telemetry lost telemetry recovered back and forth about four times it does that I will now take the sd card out to see if I have a problem again lukey this all happened at start of take off I didn't get but 5 sec in to flight maybe when it started after I couldn't fly at all because I had no idea what was going on
First off, update to the latest OpenTX firmware and the problem I described is fixed. Secondly, having a rapidly repeating telemetry lost/recovered is usually something that happens when the radio is very close to the receiver. The power of the radio overwhelms the rx, so telemetry is rapidly being lost/recovered
Maybe the DMA conflict is between getting/playing the sound file, and something with the internal MPM of the T12Pro. So, no issue with older T12/+ with external modules?
@@CurryKitten Ah okay. Did you and the others that had the issue update the firmware on the MPM? I am not having issues with a T12+ on 2.3.7 and MPM on 1.3.0.89 that has been frequency tuned to a genuine FrSky receiver.

Yes- unless you have anything that needs the SD card (for example you need to run a LUA script for Crossfire as an examples) then take the SD card out until 2.3.8 comes to fix it. I don't have any release info on 2.3.8, but looking at their previous 2.3.x versions they came out around once a month - which, if it continues should get us something at the end of this month, running into May (but that's just me guessing)

That's odd. The nightly build for 2.3.8 and then the official 2.3.9 completely fixed this for me. You're the first person I've heard who still has an issue. Are the symptoms exactly the same - with signal dropping out during any sort of voice alert? I've had a jumper T12 for over a year with the hall sensor gimbals and the thing fail-safes on me all the time I hate it.
Tried taking the SD card out ?
I've put my T12 pro back in its box, had trouble with the sounds from the SD card (card from my QX7 formatted so I know it works, also tried others 10 speed etc) while assigning a sound to a switch say 'arm' it worked fine but assigning another switch then scrolling down the list it would say no sounds on SD card. Turn off then on, the function was random even when I could see while scrolling down the sounds just went. Also had the same sort of random fail safe with my Mobula 6, maybe I'll update 2.3.7 to 2.3.8 when it comes out. Thanks for your vids on T12 and other very very useful keep up the good work and stay safe
As soon as 2.3.8 is available I'll be doing another test to make sure everything weird is resolved. It's a shame it had this issue as I was really liking the radio (although I still do want to range test it against a Taranis of some sort - waiting for lockdown to end)
I am using Jumper T12 Pro with OpenTX 2.3.9, still losing signal, I have been looking for a solution all over the internet, the only solution I had found is taking the sd card out, but then you dont get any of the alerts, if any one know how to fix it please any help will be very appreciate .
That's odd. The nightly build for 2.3.8 and then the official 2.3.9 completely fixed this for me. You're the first person I've heard who still has an issue. Are the symptoms exactly the same - with signal dropping out during any sort of voice alert? Perhaps something not quite right with the flash - bit of a grasp at straws here, but try reflashing (unlikely, but not too much effort) if problem persists, then open up another issue on the OpenTX github
@Tony 0 I do not longer have that radio any more.
has the problem been resolved yet ?
Yes, OpenTX 2.3.9 onwards
@@CurryKitten I have a problem though, I can't plug my radio in because when I do it tells my there is a power surge in the usb port, my radio demands too much power... I think something in my radio burnt but idk what, any tips to help ? (Jumper t12 pro)
Maybe the reason more are not reporting with the standard t12 it is either they're a member on my club, the "don't fix it if it isn't broke" club or are still under house arrest and not flying.
I think that's a perfectly good place to be - I'm not someone who likes to update things for the sake of it. I still have a few Betaflight quads on 3.1.7, they fly so nicely, why would I want to mess with them :)
Flying and talking can be a bit tricky.
Tegridy.
The Ebay vendor that sold me the radio told me that the T12Pro has never been designed to use voice prompts and warnings. I replied back to that idiot, why does Jumper's own firmware download include the voice pack and why does the thing have a speaker, and menu options for voice. The seller does not even list on his site that the radio is not to use voice features He is heli-nation. I would not purchase anything from him period!
Maybe it's just the vido, but sounds like your P might be a bit high
