Such a beautiful portrayal of Bengali culture.. Minus the dadi - buaa drama part, loved it where Asha explains the importance of Banarasi saadi, Lojja bostro and Alta.. ♥️ Also love that there is not a single dialogue for Devakshi through out the wedding, yet it feels so complete & realistic..

I am Bengali too and this sound is a sign of Good over evil. Every tradition and culture has its values and stories❤️ Dixit's always said bad about Bengalis . Specially radha rani. I don't know how they tolerate if someone call be bangalan I would say them whatever they are like bihari or jharkhand whatever they are ! And non veg aur veg food alag alag rakkhe aur banaye gaye hain to problem kya hain?

I believe we should respect each and every culture, may it be Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Marathi, Chinese, African, Mongolian, Korean, etc. If we don't understand any ritual or practice, we should try to know about its significance, rather than judging it. What Dev's family did was not acceptable at all becauze it is not only making the people embarrassed , it is also hurting someone's pride. It also defines our education and upbringing. Hats off to the makers of this show to bring up such an important topic. Although this episode is supposed to be romantic and heart-whelming, the makers gave an important message without snatching the smile from the faces of the audience. I am sure that the people in the audience were blushing and pondering over the situation at the same time. Also they didn't stretch the scenes for long . They applied the mature characters like Mamaji and Asha to conclude the messages quickly. And kept the main focus on the leads so as to keep the audience charmed and excited. To view it as a critic, this small things make a show charming and urges the people to watch it over again and release stress. These detailed and quirky parts create a special space in the hearts of audience. Also the scenes are carried out well without any over-acting or cringy sound like dhuntana music, which makes the show versatile and pleasant to watch. Really a commendable job.
Even in Andra Pradesh we make this sound during auspicious ceremonies.

I'm muslim and I have lived all my life with Chinese, the pork lovers but I had never insulted them for eating pork in front of me. if you can't handle that, toh pehle hi shadi ke liye naa bolte because after all its about two families not only two people. khud hi gaye thy beg karke iss shadi ke liye aur maan bhi liya tha ki Bengali style shadi hogi ab itna suna kyun rahe ho, aur bhai chahe kitna barah gunaah kyun na howa ho at least respect their culture kyun ke unke liye toh wo unka apna belief hai.
