would the problem that is second from the left of the bottom row be: 2x-14 over x^2+10x+24? Because there was the -x before you simplified to the answer?
Thankful for these videos for people like me who were too busy skipping class in high school and 10 years later realize I need it to get a good degree! Its humbling to have to learn high school algebra again!
You are the most superlative math teacher! Your lessons are comprehensive, and your knowledge is insightful. I wish I could have you as my math teacher! Thanks, Mr. McLogan!
1:29-1:31 Mr. McLogan, I don't care if you've chosen to review our time tables! As long as your teaching and helping me, get through my Algebra 2 and so on! If you teach those other math
I would love to just BE IN YOUR CLASS OR HAVE YOU AS MY ONLINE MATH TUTOR THESE DAYS!! Because these tutors today online are rude and just, pass you on to another tutor in the same subject!! I've once got all my answers on a test with the help of a tutor, wrong and got one correct from my guess since all the tutors were saying that my answer is right, but didn't show to multiply choice.
I really wish you spent time explaining the whole x divides into x2 but x2 can't divide into x. And then u said 5 divides into 5x and 5x divides into 5x... I don't get it.
x^2=x*x so x^2/x = x*x/x where the x's divide to one leaving you with x so x divides into x^2, x times. Or think about it this way. 4 divides into 12, 3 times because 4*3 = 12. So 5 divides into 5x, x times because 5*x=5x.
Confident presentation however a number of errors, a couple of minor unclear explanations and steps and blocking the view with his body while marking the board otherwise good. (Edited due to previous harsh comment)
no worries paul, I appreciate your honesty. I would agree this wasn't one of my better videos or series of videos but I am continuing to upload and grow.

yes I messed up on the simplifying, that you for catching
Don't know if it's going to help anyone but here I am a year later asking, wouldn't it be 2x + 14? Not minus?
@@alexandervidal7242 You're right, so the answer would be: 2x+14/x^2+10x+24
@@brianmclogan don't you mean to say thank you*, ?
But Mr McLogan also had that -x, but just forgot to combine like terms or something like that
i would give anything to have a teacher like you at my school
Happy to be there for you!

Thanks!
thank you so much Atka!!
you make it look so simple but right when i start doing it i get stuck
LMFAO
Bruhhh samee
nah still dont get it, i appreciate the help...ill just fail the test and move one lol
Joseph Karlo Pablo shit ima join you
Literally aced my test because of you.
Thank you
thank you for your videos. my teacher's examples are never in-depth enough for me and your videos always put it in a way i can understand. thank you!!
you are such a good maths teacher
love your videos
thanks happy to be there for you
thank you so much i would love to have you as my teacher
amazing video!! thank you so much Mr. McLogan!
Probably one of the better teachers I've seen. Your UNDERRATED THANKS!!! Cramming ah I hate and love you
At 10:40 how did u get 16?
-4 times -4 is +16
1:29-1:31
Mr. McLogan,
I don't care if you've chosen to review our time tables! As long as your teaching and helping me, get through my Algebra 2 and so on! If you teach those other math
Thank u dude I have a test tomorrow and this answered all my questions
man i wish i had a math teacher like you in my school.
Best virtual professor I have ever had haha. Great content as always :)
great video really helped
awesome! happy to be able to help you out!
Thank you 😍 God bless you ♥️🎉🎉
Thank you this video helped a lot I was stuck at the LCD part for about a week now.
Your videos are always making sence to me thank you for sharing this for us so we can understand more about rational exppression
Hello Brian! In the third exercise, do I need to factorize 3x^2+6x in the numerator?
Tnx man but dont worry about the time. You're a great teacher.
You can also just simply multiply across. The denominator times the numerator
Great video man!
Just checking the 2nd problem from the bottom. When you combined like terms in the final answer 3x-x gives you 2x correct ?
Thank you for the video
in the second row first example can you cross out an (x-4) from the bottom and top to simplify it?
no, you cannot divide across addition 5/4+4/5 does not equal 1/4 plus 4/1
got it thank you very much

12:32 : suppose to be 2x

In the #7 question does x2 +10x+24 needs to be simplified?
Cause this is my answer (x+4) (x+6)
I seriously wish you could be my math teacher
thankyouuu!!
You are very welcome Ezekiel.
why in example 7, 3(x+6)-1(x+4) didn't get simplified into 3x+18 - x+4 and then using the denominator , it got broken down into 2x+14 over (x+6)(x+4)?
7:00
in the first part. where did the 4/12 and 3/12 come from?
Can the last problem be simplified further ?
yes, I ran out of space, so just left it at that
thank you so much, i have the worst teacher ever and you just saved me.
I'm working on a problem that has a denominator of y^2+11y+24 with the second denominator being y+8. Would I write it as (y+8)(y+3)(y+8)?
bruh tell me why you teach better than my teacher
Nice dude
Actually for #7 of the examples it would be “2x” NOT “3x”
thanks
you are very welcome!
i hope this helped me not fail
sO WHaT i liKE to DO Is
haha yea
ur a beast dude
In your video you said 4 times 2 is 32 i think you meant to say that 4 times 8 is 32.
Also thanks, youre a big help for my math
you are very welcome! happy to be able to help
Your intro sh* but your a good teacher
lol who's in math right now
suggestion, slow down and stop cramming so much on the board. Less would be more. You are good, but everyone can improve
Christopher, click on the sprocket on the screen, drop speed to 75%, he is still clipping along but if you drop to 50% he begins to go sooo sloow
Confident presentation however a number of errors, a couple of minor unclear explanations and steps and blocking the view with his body while marking the board otherwise good.

Appreciate the feedback Paul. I have quite a few videos here and hope with each upload and year my explanations and videos get better.
omg. i realise i was a bit harsh so i'm editing out the 'f' word. apologies.

You're not going to fuck nobody up, least of all me, you silly little boy!
Great but you explain too fast 😅
I’m soooooo confused
About what?
Hey, wasn't this guy on that Chris Hansen to catch a predator show...
Yes
WAIT WHAT LMAOO
this video is totally useless
