Great video , I feel the same way about my RV5 plus . Can I suggest in windy conditions if using the annex to put extra guy ropes out , 2 on each of the front poles and 1 on each of the middle poles . I ve had mine in 50kpm winds and with the extra ropes it was fine . 🤙
Got an RV4 and will not part with it , perfect for when the kids turn up to camp or just a nice little sit down area for when its raining. :) Good choice guys
awesome loved your video. I have just purchased this tent and had a quick trip away on the long weekend in Perth to test it out. I was so impressed I know exactly how you are feeling about it. I am a different life stage to you but looking forward to doing the same thing now that our children are older. The night sleep with the cool breeze drifting through and looking up into the stars was not what I was thinking about when I purchased it. You mentioned stretchers, what do you recommend for this, singles or a queen? next on my shopping list.😀
Pleased to know you're as stoked with it as we are. Personally, we do two singles because we had our dog on her stretcher bed between us, and frankly, we found it was easier to have the space in the middle because that's where you enter the tent. We also spent years trying queen stretchers and blow up mattresses and simply found we both sleep better on separate stretchers when camping. We both used the Oztent Gecko and we certainly rate them. Hi guys, loved the video. Is it possible to leave the fly attached to the tent? Just thinking it might save on the set up if you were going to use the fly regularly.

We've been in some pretty heavy downpours and it's never leaked. It's been great
