I'm a UK Sunni Muslim, I worked with a lot of people directly from Iran. They had a deep hatred for their faith, and were desperate to do anything to separate themselves from their Shia Islam, they were either atheist or converted to Christianity. Every place have its share of crazy people. I had an encounter with an Iranian who believes that Islam is an Arabian invention to control other nations and he was insulting the prophet in a weird very hateful way and blaming Arabs for the way their country is now, it was surreal. Honesty I don't know to this day if he was serious or trolling or maybe he was having mental issues.
In Western society "doing anything a man can" is seen as positive. these people don't realize that women should not have "men" as their standards because it diminishes the importance of things that Allah swt created only for women. Saying "women can't do everything men can" is always interpreted as if women are somehow inferior, when in reality, men also can't do everything women can. as an African, I can say that i have never heard of a tribe where women have more than one husband But i have seen many tribes where men have more than one wife, even after Christianity they still have more the one wife. However i have heard of some few tribes where, when a man gets a visitor, the man gives one of his wives to the visitor to spend the night with them.

The Masai men used to ' gift' their wives for a day or so to the visitors and not just any visitors but the Moran ( warriors) who were in their age group. as an African, I can say that i have never heard of a tribe where women have more than one husband But i have seen many tribes where men have more than one wife, even after Christianity they still have more the one wife. However i have heard of some few tribes where, when a man gets a visitor, the man gives one of his wives to the visitor to spend the night with them.

The Masai men used to ' gift' their wives for a day or so to the visitors and not just any visitors but the Moran ( warriors) who were in their age group.
