I love this, it does such a good job of portraying the missing children's desire for revenge and long-suffering sadness at having their lives ripped from them so brutally. I have depression, anxiety, bpd, ptsd, and something similar to alter personalities but with more awareness than DID.. that makes me feel like six different people. This song makes me feel validated and even comforted in a weird way. I know this is meant to be for the Missing Kids, but I think it fits the dead employees (nightguards, technicians, etc) so much. Just think about it. If the Missing Kids are trapped in the animatronics, who's to say the nightguards stuffed in spare suits aren't as well? Plus the lyrics from 3:19 and onward? "We'll fight until morning" because that's what they are doing. The nightguards are literally fighting for their lives until 6am, aka morning. "You can't save me." They tried waiting for help. Phone Guy says "I'll try holding it out". But anybody who cared is too late. They can't be saved. "So we'll save you." They find out they were killed by vengeful souls, either when they were alive or after they died. They don't attack other nightguards or employees because that's why they died. They don't want to contuine this cycle of death, no matter how angry they are. But they'll find a way to save the souls that killed them, to put them to rest. Or maybe it's about the phone calls. They can't say it outright on the first night, because the company wouldn't leave it there then, but they can teach others what to do. Mentioning it when they normally wouldn't need to will be seen as weird. They're trying to save the other nightguards.

They don't want to contuine this cycle of death, no matter how angry they are. But they'll find a way to save the souls that killed them, to put them to rest.
Or maybe it's about the phone calls. They can't say it outright on the first night, because the company wouldn't leave it there then, but they can teach others what to do. Mentioning it when they normally wouldn't need to will be seen as weird. They're trying to save the other nightguards.
