I saw this last night at Saratoga Performing Arts Center and was absolutely blown away!! When the female dancers in the background come onto the stage all I could think of was what a riff it is on the dancers entering one by one in Bayadere…would see this piece again 100 times!!

this brilliant think piece by Robbins- I hear both the teacher take apart the genius of Balanchine and the artist build, all in one piece-
This is only the second movement of the ballet. Just FYI.
