And try to do a little research about the trail ahead of time. There's tons of info out there for every trail out here, maps, and apps specific for this kind of thing that allows you to download maps to use offline. Don't just go into trails blind without informing anyone. And never rush the trail. Aside from all that, great footage of the trail!

An aerial tram brought copper and gold
Ore down from several mines you past.
During depression gulches worked for placer gold. Stage coaches and ore wagons ran some of the roads carrying
Supply's and mail. Copper Basin was
One of first properties of Phelps Dodge.
Javelina and Huge mule deer also
    Large mountain lions and Rattlesnakes.
Model T Fords traversed these roads

You just got to check it frequently and follow the straightest line. The straightest line is always a shortest distance and it won't try and funnel everybody onto the same road. Because even the GPS has an algorithm😉 earlier where I was going the GPS wanted me to take a specific route. I had family in a different vehicle coming the same direction they took that alternate route and it drug them through every city, restaurant and every gas station that everybody else was going through they were in traffic everything was very crowded. I didn't want to go that way cuz it was going to take me a hundred extra miles and kept an eye on that GPS like it was a thief. Needless to say we got home about an hour and a half earlier in an hour vehicle. Pretty much confirming what I already thought they were doing. Because where I went through I saw just very few cars because you know it gives you a couple options it'll give you those gray lines on the maps with the GPS so you can make your decision as you're going which route to take. So even if it says it's 15 minutes faster you can look at the map and tell you're going 60 miles out of your way

Hey man! Just found your channel. I am an Arizona native and only recently have been to Skull Valley and left mesmerized by it. It is an amazing place; Untouched and desolate.
I have been off roading here for years. I am not sure how to put this, but this video put me at peace. I love the AZ desert and love hitting this type of trail. You captured it perfectly; The excitement, the fear, the stress of an unknown trail and the hurried pressure of a setting sun. This hit home for me.
Thanks for the video! Thanks for sharing our beautiful state!

You got what you wanted. Views. I watched it all. Not one time was you on the edge of a cliff. The road you was on is nothing. Nice click bait

"You think being married is bad" Lol. Before you saying that, I was thinking a wife would be concerned for your safety all the time. It would be a smidge uncomfortable for her and may cause some hassles. I pray for your safety always. I enjoy watching even if I can't breath until it is over. God bless you Richie.

If he took his wife on that trail she might not be his wife much longer, unless she is one very unique woman. Maybe a Prescott or Payson girl...

When I lived in Prescott, I was in a huge van on a back dirt road in Skull Valley in 1985. My friend was driving, the van was packed floor to ceiling, front to back with everything she owned... A mouse ran up her pant leg and she flipped out, lost control and the van began fishtailing. I grabbed the wheel but it made it worse, we flipped the van in a gully. It landed on the drivers side. She was still freaking out about whatever was climbing up the inside her pant leg... literally stepped on my face to climb out and up through the passenger side window. We were stuck out there for hours and hours as darkness set in. Horrible experience. Thx for that memory!
Have you ever done Black Bear Pass in Colorado? Woah!
    PS
Dude don’t ever get stuck out there during fire season! That place is a tinderbox.
The entire Prescott Hotshot Team died by Yarnell, not far from Skull Valley.

This is a fairly normal Arizona trail. To me this is an easy one honestly. But I used to rock crawl so maybe I'm a little nuts lol. Always great scenery on the AZ trails though. You should head up to Sedona and follow the pink jeeps around. Completely different scenery up there. Sorry to hear about the King's, that really blows.

That road look definitely pretty easy. I kept waiting to see if there was huge rut or something but it never came. But I guess it just depends on someone’s off-road experience. To a newbie it can definitely give you the willys.
