That player had the nuke quest active too. When berilium (the element that gives the gold crown icon) is dropped in the ground, all players from the nuke squad (only him because we are in solos) get a red outline for a few seconds as long as berilium stays in the ground. To avoid that they should pick it up.

This was a 11:45 am lobby on Europe and I have 5.25 kd. Your lobbies are the same probably. Just sometimes you run into sweats and others into bots.
