According to the SOP; Whilst the 25th of December may not be the actual birthday of Christ, we are advised not to ignore the day and utilise it as a time of exchanging gifts and other tokens of love. We also advised to provide entertainment that will keep us focused on Christ during this day.If it's done in the spirit of Christ then it's praiseworthy. Remember Philippians 4:8. Good going Reunion. Kindly say your point of view with love and grace. Saying that they are totally lost is really harsh and condemning, in my opinion. This is a ministry that I've known to have a passion for the Lord's work for years through song.
Stop being holier than thou. There is nothing wrong about acknowledging the birth of Christ as long as it does not involve any pagan rituals. Sometimes you need to go beyond what you are told and denominational dogma and open up your mind! I bet you even visit your family and friends and enjoy their fellowship over Xmas. What is wrong with that?
