i just got reaper today lmao and already it does feel like this, where it's simultaneously a summoner character but also way too risky because every other skill is super close range. The summon dps is huge but that's all it has going for it. Still not gonna switch it until i get another mythic though
If you use maxed galaxy and you grind Underworld with a friend that’s using reaper. It’s slow.
Also during the boss fight, i never die because of the R ability fast switch. However, my friend keeps dying. And he’s a pretty skilled reaper user. I did more dps during the boss fight and his Reaper is corrupted. Really underwhelming even with 2 reaper rings. So disappointing.
I’m just like your friend, I feel like a kamikaze bomb in every boss fight. I simply just have to brute force it or play extremely meticulously in order to avoid dying.
@@BingusBreaker Yeah Reaper can be decent especially if you keep a certain distance. I agree that it should be re-worked. If you like speed running; galaxy has extremely good handles for long and mid-range and clearing dungeons faster. Makes sense because Reaper is more of a close combat kind of element. While Galaxy is more long range. Both are unique regardless.

There are things I wish would be better for reaper, the 1st and third move are complete garbage, but if I chose which I would prefer I’d choose the first. Also I don’t like being dependent on Summons for damage.
Not true the 3rd ability does decent damage and has long range also it has knock back so now I know you know nothing about reaper
Well, this was so helpful. I just pulled a reaper and I was didn’t know if I should eat it not so I was scouting the Internet. It was just one video I saw, which was not this saying is good like the best one I wasn’t too many good reason I still didn’t know if I should keep my galaxy or not, asking people nobody said anything and I came to this video and completely change. My mind that we book can be good but it’s not good.
I feel like if Reaper was focused more around its melee capabilities, given more range and MAYBE a lifesteal passive... it would be a pretty solid element
as a fellow reaper user i completely agree with what your saying the game is just not good when it comes to melee they should have just stuck with their basic range attacks other than trying something new
My hope is that v2 will fix many of the issues it holds
I can agree with everything that was stated.
As a reaper user, Most what you said is true.
1. Transformation has a REALLY big hitbox what made you to get hitted most of the times, that's why you need a high HP to use reaper (3k HP atleast).
2. The reaper dmg is one of the highest in the game, doesn't matter how you look at this but it deals ALOT of dmg (Max lvl + 500 mas, my skeletons deal 18k dmg per hit)
3. Reaper is a calculated element. You have to think about every move you do before doing that move
4. Transformation hitbox is big, that's why you have to play aggresive using it. If is going too danger and you're going to die, unhold the element and the transformation will be cancelled. Of course the cooldown will be still there (Cooldown is 2.40 mins and the duration of transformation is 30 seconds. Tested myself)
5. You can't use reaper as a aggresive element if you don't have transformation. Reaper C move can stun the enemy and the same time push them away, giving a chance for the skeletons to deal dmg.
6. Take 2 potions of healing. Using transformation you get 60-55% reduce dmg, having 2 potions of healing, can increase the hits you get from the Boss
7. Go first and let the NPC in a dungeon targhet you (I know it sound dumb but let me explain) Reaper most dmg is on skeletons, using you as a "shield" and made the NPC targhet you, will offer the chance for skeletons to kill it. Every you meet a NPC who has a range attack, go front with your dash and let the NPC targhet you and skeletons will do they job, they are enough faster to catch you from the back and to go front if there is a NPC.
8. Overall, for me Reaper is a good element if you play it well.
That was my opinion (No hate, everyone can have his own opinion, but that is mine) If your opinion is different i respect that.
9. I wierd thing i see on reaper transformation and i saw that on dummy. Sometimes reaper transformation can do from 1 to 3 times the M1 dmg. Let me explain, The M1 transformation is based on skeletons dmg, if they do 18k dmg your transformation will do 18k dmg per m1. But sometimes it happens to deal with transformation M1 18k x 3 times or 2 or just 18k per m1. Idk how that work.
Great opinion thanks sharing your insight, also for 9. I believe it is a bug (But the developers never fixed it yet) Basically the more times you transform in a dungeon/hub the more your damage will multiply. Damage = (your base damage) x n
N being the amount of times you casted transformation. For example, you transform a total of 4 times in a dungeon, your damage will be (your base damage) multiplied by 4. I have a video on this bug called “One shotting the pumpkin king bug”

ok the summons are great they melt anything on their way but bro you need *2 MORE REAPERS* to get 2 more crafted items to get 4 summons and thats a lot of work
first ability is terrible you have a very high chance of taking hit
second is summoning its fine
third is just even though its AoE its just to keep enemies away
fourth you have to zoom out or turn off shaking otherwise your camera just goes 💀
fifth transformation i didnt unlock it but i saw somebody in transformation getting destroyed by 1 enemy LOL
You should try out KRAMPUS, youll love its mixed mid range/ sniper ABILITIES
1st move should be reworked to a ranged and shouldnt have a leap
The only reason why I disagree is because it helps me grind and I love being lazy so it helps me with the skeletons also the 3rd ability pushes them away helping me in hardcore
I'm not sure what to get then. I've always heard that reaper is good for grinding, but maybe not. I just want a mythic as my goal to get, and I want it to be good. I'm not sure what to get, kitsune maybe?
Kitsune is the best element in the gamer rn.

Don't you think you should have 2 reaper rings before you judge reaper, so the viewer knows that you fully understand it from it's strongest to weakest point. No disrespect, just trying to give constructive criticism
I do have a video on the reaper ring (Albeit like you said I don't have both reaper rings), where I discuss the negatives. I see your point and I would like to disagree, because the ring is not a reasonable thing for every player to get. In terms of the actual design the reaper is lacking and whether you get more damage or less damage it doesn't change the argument.

@@abdullahtayyab8828 They are certainly new to this from my observations, and they only have a few developers. I would agree, that given more time they would have a more polished game. But we do need to give them the benefit of the doubt, they are students after all and they aren’t on professional standards.

Appreciate, the comment but even with the reaper buffs in the latest update my argument still hasn't changed. The design is just fundamentally wrong and it will never be fixed no matter how many buffs/nerfs until the kit is reworked.
@@BingusBreaker Reaper was buffed like a while ago and does a bunch of damage now, its a good element all around and a mythical element is a mythical element, so you cant complain if you get it.

Here don’t really care about what anybody expects your self says if you like reaper it is completely fine first reapers first ability is high damage to and the cool down is very fast you can also get a m1 when your level 300 *on the element* secondly the only things that bad about reaper is short range a long cool down *on the last a ability* , adds that first ability can hit two times too so when the opponent is like two block away your can still hit them . How did I get reaper. I keep trading until 5 lava so I use it to trade reaper don’t say it’s a scam I wanted it and the other person agreed too that all for today. More adds , if you play alone you can summon skeleton the help you and be your friend plus if you have two reaper ring you can summon 4 skeletons it is OP and you can heal your skeleton when they are low you can also pull opponent to you *when transformed grim reaper😮
