Marine grease is great for particular applications but it does tend to get very stiff as it ages. This makes it hard to clean out. For scooter/skate wheel bearing I use Boesheild T9 (for speed) or Park Tool Grease-Urea base (for endurance).
Watching around different videos some people recommended branded lubricants like Oust Met-OL Speed Oil and Ionic Flux Black. Would you say they're good or not as lubricants performance-wise?
As far as lubrication and anti-friction, there's no reason to think they're not really good. But being oils, they're going to need re-application, especially whenever they get taken through some rain.
Cleaned my new old stock Killerbees Abec 3 bearings one by one. Lool brnad new. Can I used Parktool Polylube 1000 (PPL-1) polyurea grease ??? I want frictionless bearings to cruise and coast far.. But Canada har rough weather too.
The Park lube will work, but won't spin as freely as a thinner oil would. My advice would be not to pack the grease as tight as this guy did. That was way too much heavy grease for a skate bearing. Yes, it will help protect the bearing but also make it much slower due to all the added surface tension.
Hmmm. Hard to tell, I can't seem to find information on it. It probably can, but some of these multipurpose stuff sounds a lot like knockoff WD-40. If you put it on something and tell its a thick oil that doesn't just flow off like water, you should be alright.
I wouldn't use it. Looking at it carefully, its in the same ballpark as WD-40. Corrosion inhibitor, and by "lubricant" they seem to mean it will stop squeaky hinges. It looks like it uses some sort of paraffin for its lubricant base, which I think would mean some sort of wax. Not what you want for bearings.
Longboard Technology well my next best option to try is something my dad uses on the bearing in his car. i dont know what it is called but it is like the slimey, slippery, red goop. i think its call axel greese or something like that.
If it can be used in the cars bearings, then it will work very well. It'll be messy, and a little more heavy duty than it needs to be, but it will do a very good job.
@Hurlrules Water doesn't instantly harm bearings. In this video: ua-cam.com/video/cWRl1pOfUeQ/v-deo.html I leave bearings in salt water overnight with negligible effect. A minute or two under a jet of water will cause literally zero harm so long as they are properly dried afterwards. Also, I really do like nylon retainers. I think they have a better feel to them.
Sorry, don't speak english very well, don't understand all what you say. So, white lithium grease is good for bearings on longboard downhill-freeride? I have a full tube, i hope I can use it with my bearings on my downhill board.
You can use it with no problems. It simply won't allow your wheels to spin as fast and freely tho. It will however protect them better. Don't use too much as this guy did unless you want a sluggish spin. Just coat the bearings, don't pack it in too tight. Trust me on that. Even on a larger bicycle wheel, if you pack the bearings too tight with a heavy grease, you will notice the drag. A light to medium coat is sufficient with a heavy grease. Just my two cents
Can anyone recommend me a lube besides from speed cream or other common lubes sold in skate/bike shops? Like something that I probably have in my garage, like oils or something that would make a good substitute for the lubricant.
did anyone tried mixing small amounts or blue automobile high temperature bearing grease and some bearing oil? just to thicken the bearing oil a little bit. maybe in the consistency of a hot gravy?
Why not just get an old waterpick to blast them clean ? You can put hot water with alcohol in the waterpick . To get the water out just submerg them in everclear is 99% pure. I use super lube( which contains Teflon), synthetic grease . I pre wet the bearings with marvel mystery oil before greasing.

Use Orange Oil Citrus Cleaners, and Lubricant. Easy clean and it's quick.
Fuck that hippy shit. Something like Coleman Fuel is where it’s at if you want to remove grease.
I used that citrus cleaner it made my traxxas slash bearings so clean.
Everything you suggested worked great except when I reinstalled the shields on my Radikal bearings they don’t stay on. Suggestions?
12:12 ?
Yeah, it overwhelmed my cameras microphone.
Have you tried dryfluid skate bearing lubricant?
The Teflon where the heaviest pressure is on the bearings the heat generated bakes a super slick Teflon coating on those surfaces.

hey there , would your trucks be usable on a top mount without a problem?
would some traxxas 30k differential oil/lube work well for my longboard?

Wouldn't the ammonia from the windex rust the bearings?
I have something called MPL (Multi-Purpose Lubricant) It's normally used for car parts. Could it be used to lubricate bearings?
Hmmm. Hard to tell, I can't seem to find information on it.
It probably can, but some of these multipurpose stuff sounds a lot like knockoff WD-40.

It is from Advanced Auto parts
I wouldn't use it.

can gasoline or kerosene can be use too?

Baby oil?
Gasoline, no.
It has Bromine in it as an addative, which is pretty nasty stuff.
Kerosene should probably work fine.

Singer sewing machine oil.
Silicone spray maybe. Don't use wd40 it destroyed my bearings...
I'm Savage tri-flow dry lubricant excellent stuff goes on wet and then waxes up to provide a dry smooth roll.
Yes.
Air can sounded weird.
Why can't you touch a hair dryer
The Hair Drier Police will get me.
I'm picking up roller skating again, all of my bearings are packed with white lithium grease.

Most lubes aren't compatible with each-other unfortunately.
Àmazing method!!!!
Silicon lubricant for 7 minute rolls ;D
Anti-water :)
bRAKE CLEANER IS WAY BETTER THA NALCOHOL
