    Watching this interview with Sabalenka, I would like to say that she is really a sweetheart! She answered the questions while smiling a lot, wonderful personality. She was gracious, delightful, unassuming, just a joy to watch her talk, no bitterness in her heart, her mannerisms were so natural as well. She won $1,500,000 being a runner-up, not bad at all. I wish she would continue to play at this level for many more years. Congratulations Aryna, we are so proud of you!!!

      @@missana3492 she made a lot of unforced errors. That's what she meant by beating herself. That wasn't the only reason she loss. She did mention that coco moved around the court well, and even better as the match moved along, but a majority of the points she lost on unforced errors. Her struggle for years has been controlling her emotions on court and self destructiong. She's getting better with that.. the best thing is watching them grow from the juniors to where they are now. Coco was able to break her serve and at the end that was all she wrote. Coco closed it out once she got used to Aryna's power. I can only see coco getting more difficult to beat as she continues to improve. Hopefully they play many more matches against each other.

There's Aryna, who is kinda funny, sometimes in a self-depricating way. There's Iga, a quirky introvert.. Elena, another one but not as quirky... all the very cool Czech players with tatoos and without. There's the down to earth Jess. Minister of happiness aka Ons. I am kind of a fan of all of them and I am loving their distinctive journeys... In this year's final I wasn't rooting for any one of the two ladies. It would have been grand if Aryna won, but just as grand now that Coco won.

      If you look at the number of unforced errors made in the 2nd and 3rd set, the outcome was decided on that basis. It seems like Sabalenka went back to the bad old ways and started trying to finish points too early. Yes, the defence of Gauff was better, but the stats make it pretty clear what happened.

    • @taisiachertenko8580
      @taisiachertenko8580 11 місяців тому

      She made 46 unforced errors and Gauff only 19. This final was horrible for such a level of tennis. Maybe emotions played here a crucial role. But if Sabalenka played her best tennis yesterday, I am sure, she would won the titel. Coco played quite well and she is only 19. So my congrats to her.

      I have always loved women tennis, but I have to say that was not a great final . Too many mistakes from Sabalenka particularly in the 2nd set, but Gauff was solid ,excellent defense skills, and great court coverage, so she deserved to win this.But overall the women tournament was disapppointing. No great games compared to the guys

    • @tiffaniebrown5784
      @tiffaniebrown5784 11 місяців тому

      @sylvainhyais8166 part of the tennis is mistakes and nerves. She let the crowd and error get in her head. Plus, she's been struggling all year with nerves. The men's game has Alcaraz and other exciting players where women don't have as many. I like the unpredictable side of the women's game. You never know for sure who's going to win.
