- A young man reluctantly embarks on a journey to his ancestral land of Lesotho to bury his estranged father, and finds himself drawn to the mystical beauty and hardships of the people and the land he had forgotten.
The young boy's performance in this film is outstanding; his acting is truly brilliant.
"You see how unforgiving this universe is when you do not listen to it" that hit too deep.
Literally!!!🙌🏿🙌🏿
As proudly mosotho wa Lesotho 🇱🇸 who live in the USA I’m happy to hear Sesotho and see Lesotho I love watching movies and soapies from home I enjoy watching skeem saam and I found this made me happy I like the fact that we understand each other languages between SA and LS ❤
Bee proud nomator what
Salute to the directors and producers😮what a film 🎥 danko banna ba heso😅 for such a loving story and surecasing the beauty of mountains of lesotho
As a Zulu person from Joburg I must say this is a beautiful movie. I wonder how many more beautiful South African/Lesotho movies like this.
The acting was good. Probably because these were experienced actors. I love the character of the young boy. The story was very simple and flowing. Yet it seems to be captivating. It's pure drama
What a movie,..Im proud to say I like to see our own black people acting very beautifully like this♥️♥️to the producers, and the poster makers, thank you, well done🚀🚀🐐🎓🎓what an ending
I am watching this in Australia. They were wonderful actors with great stories to work with. Thank you all who acted, filmed and worked with this fantastic movie.
Thank you so much, this is the best movie of our time in South Africa & Lesotho ❤
Jonga the landscape is amazing like wow God did take his time when he was creating Lesotho...the story line is beautiful and relatable...thank you for the story and the subtitles really helped coz ndingumXhosa😅 it was good watching a movies in another Southa African language...🙏❤️...
Lesotho is now on my bucket list of countries to visit...❤❤❤beautiful country beautiful people...
i went to a funeral of a relative in Limpopo last weekend (11 Jan 25), and i was so out of place. Out of place, this movie just made me realise and remember.....nka ho lebala jwang, Romeng legae la ka!!!
To the producers, thank you very much for connecting me with my young self. Soon I will be visiting Lesotho to find my self with connection to the nature♥️❤️🙏💫
You should my brother it’s nice there 🥺
What an emotional movie. SA, my adopted country never dissapoints. The acting is so raw...wow!
Cape Town approves❤🙌. NdingumXhosa, subtitles really saved me i could seldomly understand but I've learnt a lot from this movie about sotho people. One I'll visit Lesotho i swear.
"I haven't forgotten you. How could I forget you" 🔥🔥🔥 An absolutely amazing piece of work
Made me cry like a baby ...
Great movie. It deserves an Oscar ✊🏾
love how the young man's path is met with many unforeseen circumstances...i think its a good reflection on life and how you can be lost even when you know the path you are supposed to be on,but everything is always out of his control it seems, always testing us.
I saw it the other way - the young man thinks he is lost, but has always been connected. For example, the two wedding rings connect him to his lost parents and even though one is sold and the other stolen, each one takes him on the next part of his journey and on to his other connections.
Either way and both, I'm watching this mesmerising film from Wales.
I wish we had more films like this, by far one of the best works I have ever watched and you really feel connected to where you come from. I love it
IAM PROUDLY MOSOTHO FROM LESOTHO AND I CURRENTLY WORK IN THAT FUNERAL SERVICES IAM SO EXCITED

Wha a beautiful movie and grief and belonging.
Loss is such a huge part of the human experience and we deal with it in different ways.
The old man, Lineo's father was in pain. He was lording over Lineo because he felt that he was not in control of his life. Unfortunately in life we can't control everything that happens to us.
The little boy is honestly a star. He has a lot of empathy and understands loss deeply. He lost his parents yet has zeal and passion for life. He literally saved Atang's life.
Atang was initially a very angry man, yet he found himself in the long journey to find Lineo. It's the long dangerous journey that healed him. It gave him perspective.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful movie.
I wish everyone healing and light. And grace through all our losses in life.

The young boy says to Atang "Your looking for the teacher aren't you? I know these things. I am the eyes on the dark clouds that follow you around this country."
Watching from Soweto (Rockville/Moroka). I enjoyed the movie we need more of such films. The scenery was breathtaking. Lesotho is truly beautiful. I visited Ha-Mantshebo and instead of staying for a week, I ended up staying for four weeks, celebrating both Christmas and New Year's Eve there. Big up to all involved. I'll watch it again later.
