Rare Cesar 86 / 83 Gold Blank Male Mask Variant

This is a Cesar mask I bought in the mid to late 2000's from a website that sold them for a short time. This is a rare variation of the Cesar blank male masks that are popular for Joey Jordison/Slipknot customs, etc. This is a strange variation in that on the bottom, it's stamped as an 86, yet it has the features the details of an 83 (eye/nose/mouth cuts). In addition, the forehead is largely extended. This mask, compared to a 1983/6, is much larger due to extension. This is not a custom, nor did I paint or alter it. It was manufactured this way (they were painted in either gold or silver). In my years of collecting these masks (since '99), I've seen a handful with shorter extended foreheads, but not as large as this. For comparison, I placed an standard 86 on the left and an 83 on the right.

A wig website years ago ('07, iirc). It briefly carried both the gold & silver ones, plus the painted 83's.

Thanks! That one I spray glossed maybe 15 years ago? I used to have it hung on the wall for a long time, and it eventually began yellowing.

83s? They're very rare and hard to find these days, so good luck finding one. Check mask groups on FB, online marketplaces, or take the time and search resale/thrift shops. Otherwise there are easy options to get 86s.
