Happy 10th Anniversarry to my son...I can't believe it's been a decade since I created him. I've gone through a really long journey since then. I specifically chose this song because of the lyrics being about traveling the world and experiencing things, as well as growing up. Because those things have been on my mind recently since my birthday was a week ago! With Karasu's 10th birthday finally being here, I have a couple things to say....
The 10th anniversary project is something you'd want to check out. It was organized by my friend ATSUYA (kurobousuku's voicer) and Froggy (my friend who absolutely loves drawing karasu and kurokara), it contains tuning from different users and art from a lot of people who have come to support Karasu. I got really emotional and cried a lot when I saw it. To think a simple vocaloid OC of mine would touch many people's hearts makes me really happy. From the first video of him I put up on this channel, to the positive feedback on the -ERROR cover; I thank you all so very much.
He's gone through many changes both design and voice wise. Strange to think a character I've created in middle school would actually grow up with me like this. It's a bit melancholic to say that while I don't intend to actually quit; it's more of a realization that I have more things to worry about as the years go by. I'll still draw Karasu and upload on this channel from time to time, but it won't be my priority anymore. Still, feel free to use his voicebanks or whatever, he's not going away any time soon :)
I'm a bit sad I couldn't personally do a special video because I have a lot of assignments/commissions to do and the semester is almost ending. Regardless, I wanted to release both of the two voicebanks I finished awhile back. "Grim" sings most of the song, it's a 4-pitch dark voicebank, and "Hollow" is a 2-pitch whisper vb. I honestly don't have much left to do with regards to Karasu's voice anymore and life just keeps getting busier haha. Safe to say it'll be the last new Karasu voicebanks in awhile.

Congrats To you and your son! Karasu and your work have touched many people's lives and I think that in itself is quite the accomplishment. It's so strange to think how much both of you have grown over the years. I'm proud of you and how hard you work, not just in UTAU but everything you do! this feels like such a trip, i’m literally crying over a voicebank. even though i’ve only listened to karasu for a couple years i’ve done a lot of growing up since i discovered him. your work has really inspired my own work as well as just my mental state as a whole. i think music touches people in a way that’s much deeper than just words or pictures, your art along with the emotion you’ve packed into your tuning always struck a chord with me as well though. good luck to you rev in whatever you do and know that you’ve done so much that’s absolutely changed lives. thank you so much.
