She gets it as well. Many Pros don’t. Maybe the WNBAs alleged greats can learn from her and realize that there are levels to this thing. They may look superhuman in their minds but it’s the fans who pay them.
CC is an incredible player. her magic though...is her. people love her and she is a great role model for so many people and especially the kids. reality is the most of the WNBA players overall do not "EXUDE" goodness like she does. the cliche of lesbians being bitter or angry seems pretty true in the WNBA and they have wondered why they can't attract people. WHY? because they are just not very likable or relatable. CC is like a throw back to a much earlier time when life was simpler and not so nasty like these days. i think the WNBA overall thought they would "beat her down" and show she can't make it in the WNBA. well that didnt happen and now with the Olympics the WNBA exposed themselves SO VERY MUCH. they are fools. bitter fools that can't get out of their own way. they are being "humbled" daily as CC's potency grows. CC respresents "goodness...something that hasn't existed in the WNBA to now.
The only record Clark broke is scoring for white girls..4,061 Pearl Moore is all time leading scorer the fact that she's accepting this shows how classless she is
It’s got nothing to do with race. Clark passed plenty of non-white women on the way to the NCAA scoring record. It is a shame that the NCAA doesn’t recognize AIAW records, so there’s plenty of argument to be had there, but given that the NCAA only recognizes its own records, I don’t think it’s “classless” for Clark to accept a record that’s considered official.
She understands what she has done and is doing her best to return her gratitude to the fans.
