Wow, wow,wow, Papa Roach must be thunderstruck with what this girl child rock prodigy has done with "Last Resort". That song is brilliant as is but Maya has gone and added spice (pardon the pun😅) to it and lifted it even higher! Another big up fro South Africa!
The spice she added are the scales from the Carnatic Raaga Charukesi (which was the intro aalaap). She meshed up, especially the switch from Last Resort to Carnatic scales were seamless. BRAVO, KUDOS.

When one is as young as Maya is, then one does not usually get stage-fright because one has no fears, no expectations, and no inhibitions... those are adult problems. Maya is childlike - she's a child after all - without being childish.

She did a couple of English language interviews for Indian TV .. well worth watching. She explains her method of learning the guitar .. instead of "normal" guitar lessons she learned songs that she liked .. she could then work to master that song .. which she says is "Fun!" so it is not work even if taking time to do it over and over until right. Then next song .. etc. She really does not need AGT .. she has a UA-cam presence and personally knows top tier metal guitarists . Heck .. the guitar she played is a gift from one guy and another came over and tuned it for the show .. again these are top level musicians. Heck she got a personal tour of Gipson guitars by the chief guitar president dude of the company.
