i dont know how i ended up here but i watched the full podcast and it was an interesting talk. thanks :) you both are very interesting and insightful to listen to haha
My intuition told me to stay away from the early flag grabbers. I actually grabbed a flag over 1,000. However, because of that my number got reassigned to 132. It all mattered. None of it mattered. Both at the same time somehow. Btw, I love your last question, in both interviews. It's fascinating. Hope you do more interviews and I say keep asking it :)
I've been binging the first 5 episodes of Beast Games this week and I, as a manager at my job, had to fire a person this week due to an upper management decision I think is unfair. This all strikes deep in the psyche. The games can seem so unfair. I think one thing that is crazy about the games is that people who are outed are basically humiliated--such as cuffing yourself in the read box. The empathy from that created is nuts....Adam, I don't think doing it ten times really changes Marc's odds on rolling dice. It might add some drama but there will be the uniform likeliness outcome.
17:55 Woa. Right time. Right decision. You felt you needed a change. Even though you're friends were in that platform. So, how did you know what to choose in the other platform? There were 9 other platforms, right?
@trexinvert Yes it was a tough decision but one that I had to make as time was running out. I started to get frantic and actually saw Adam and a few other solid guys that I had also become friends with, so I quickly, yet hesitantly decided to go with that group, and here's why. There was one guy who rubbed me the wrong way, particularly in how he was forcing his leadership onto the others to comply and sit down and be quiet, and I didn't like his approach. I almost didn't pick that team because of him, but I ultimately had to trust my decision and stick with this new team. My logic and reasoning was fighting against my instincts, but I somehow ended up feeling some compassion for this guy (as I knew we were all feeling extreme pressure and our nerves were getting the best of us for fear of disqualification for not formulating our team in time). I spoke to him directly and actually gave him some encouragement as he was obviously very stressed out, and his whole demeanor changed towards me and everyone else after our chat. It was such a great learning experience for me about my style of personal leadership and ultimately learning to trust myself. Enjoy watching the Games!
They promoted on Twitter I believe. One contestant said she routinely searches for casting calls for game shows and happed to see that Mr beast was casting. I saw one group of contestants went on another game show together so some people might have managers that have the inside scoop on new shows looking for casting. They had to send in a casting video with their application.

How do you even end up being a participant? Was there an application or something?
