✨️We were all listening to this and Ministry's music in the '80's. Albums, cassettes, the clubs playing it, etc. Don't know what I'd do without this music from then.✨️🎶🎉

Well, I live with snakes and lizards And other things that go bump in the night 'Cause to me every day is Halloween I have given up hiding and started to fight I have started to fight Well anytime, any place, anywhere that I go All the people seem to stop and stare They say, "Why are you dressed like it's Halloween?" "You look so absurd, you look so obscene!" Oh, why can't I live a life for me? Why should I take the abuse that's served? Why can't they see they're just like me? Not a bad effort from a fledgling Ministry. Being told how to sound by the label (English accents) makes this a stand out piece of electro-pop with Al's ingenious and naturallly irreverent touch. Anyone notice the sound 'widening' in the left ear at 1.06?

I'm 50, still listen to MINISTRY. They still play, I still listen. Bar-non. As for present, Alien Vampires and Three Teeth.
I’m 15 and I’m listening to them now, ministry will live on for generations...
Try S.A.M industrial hardcore
God bless, Fuck Covid
I'm 60 and still listen
This is the greatest song ever written in my humbled opinion...its this classic song alone that makes Al Jourgensen a living legend👁🧠👁
You're right
The initial tune is so distant and tragic
Without a doubt
Áudio Perfeito !Viva Halloween
Every day is Halloween
A definite classic from my high school days.
Man i`m digging on this so much right now my neighbors are bitching about it from down the street, and there goes a speaker!

Ah, the right speed. Even with the lost hip hop section, this is what I wanted.
I think Al Jourgensen's synth act is still very popular amongst his fans. I really love this track and Work For Love! 💗💗💗

I've been revisiting Effigy again. Music of my youth...🖤
Agree.
He's extremely versatile. Whether he wants to admit it or not. His accent is versatile too. Lol
Al seemed to hate this song for a long time. Glad he came around, because it's a great song.
March, 30th 2024 Dallas, Ministry at the Factory. ! another great show.
What a great album, bought it at Wax Trax , cheers Al J.
"Denials .... Reprisals .... It's the same, it's the same, in the whole wide world." I just love this, especially at Halloween.

Why does he sound British on this track?
For awhile way back he liked to fake having a british accent.
@@masoneverdeen9215 Which he later apologized for doing....
@@JohnLGalt_1 That's a strange thing to apologise for. Especially given all the heroin.
@@Aconitum_napellus He apologized because it was an obviously fake accent that he put on for the entire album,. Heroin notwithstanding, lol.
Brits patois was the thing
