My Laptop sound won't works via hdmi cable only video/picture but no sound will this product solve problem? And make sound works on Tv if laptop doesn't by normal?? Thanks..
I always like to share what learn. I haven't used this thing in a long until I was test out this other product I got on Black Friday. If you attach a 4k Gamer Plus or 4k Game Pro to the wireless receiver. You now have true 4k wireless. This device usually goes for $130 for the Plus version and $170 for the Pro version. I got the plus version for $96. It was my only opportunity to buy it😅 This 4k Gamer Plus is worth every penny. Especially if you want to get into pc gaming. You don't need a strong GPU. Just enough power to send out a 1080p 60hz signal and the minimum of a full screen game with 900p 60fps to upscale to 4k. People need to stop looking at those $1000 GPUs and use this instead. It's like EDID combined with FSR technology. Fsr on a stick.
I can attest it works pretty well. No lag at all. Mine came pre-paired which was great. The only problem is that the transmitter won't work if you put it on an HDMI splitter. I was trying to send my security camera feed to two TV's and thought a splitter might do the trick, it didn't. The transmitter has to be in the main hdmi port of the source. I'm going to get a second set to see if I can daisy chain them, that is use the hdmi-out port of the tv to send the signal to another tv.
I wonder if this Nyrius can wirelessly connect between two TVs? So in my case, the laptop would be my main tv in living room connected to cable Internet. Yet I want to mirror what's on that tv to an outdoor tv that's about 80 feet away. I do have Internet coverage outside via a WiFi extender. Possible?
I bought it, set it up per your help and love it! Hooked it up to cable box in living room to mirror on kitchen monitor. Worked great for over a year but all of a sudden it now scrambles the Plasma TV which has the cable box. Each time I use in kitchen, I have to shut it off then unplug cable box to restart it and then it will work on the Plasma. I can't watch both simultaneously anymore. Can you help me know what happened, please? Thank you, Tech Steve! :)
Hello! Great review! Ours won't stay paired. After the initial pairing, the light on the transmitter goes from steady, back to blinking fast again. Do we need to use a computer in the initial setup? Is that why the pairing won't stick and stay? Thanks!
Does anyone have found something similar to this, but way smaller? I'm interested in busting this thing open to find out how it works I have something I want to build with that, but it needs to be really small, or be easy to reverse engineer
can i use this to my tv to replace my monitor since currently my monitor is broken and I was wondering if I just buy this instead of buying new pc monitor?
Can i use this product through my stereo receiver, i was using hdmi splitter through my stereo, and one of my hdmi cords dont work, so how can i use this product through my stereo receiver but still be able to screen mirror on both TVs
1:43 Instead of plugging in the transmitter directly to your laptop via USB to power the device, you can plug the USB into an actual USB power supply plugged into an electrical socket or power strip, avoiding the need for that right angle HDMI female to male adapter.
I wonder if this would work for mobile gaming on an Android phone with no lag within the requested footage. Using a usb-C to HDMI female and then plugging the power cord into a wall. It would def be ugly and expensive but lagless?
Is there a way to use this device to project to multiple TVs? I’m teaching a class and I want to have my camera feed stream to three TVs that are mounted on the wall
Okay, my question is. I want to make my monitor for my computer wireless. If I plug this in the back of my computer with a Bluetooth doggle in my monitor it'll be wireless?
You would plug the transmitter into the hdmi output on your computer and plug the receiver into your monitor. No Bluetooth needed, the max resolution will be 1920 x 1080p
@@TechSteve , My application is a remote control robot to drive into confined spaces. If I can lower the robot in to the space and transmit live video from an action cam with an HDMI output, then I do not need to send a person into the confined space. My real goal is to transmit the camera feed over the Internet so people who are not present can view the live video. Do you have any suggestions on how to do this?
The worst experiment ever i don't recommended to have thus device at all... Expensive first of all Second if you are far and you are surrounded by walls it won't connect at all

Can I use this to send signal form a DSLR camera to a video capturer and stream with OBS studio or vMix?
Yes, but I wouldn’t go past about 12ft in the same room because of artifacts

Yes

You would need an HDMI Distributor
Mr steve ... How can i buy it ... Couse in indonesian no sale it ... Can you help me ?
Sorry I don’t know that region for buying products
Nice review. I was wondering if it would work with gaming very well.
Yes, but I would use a hdmi cable
Does this Works on Raspberry pi 4??
Doo ok you have a vid showing how to use this with streaming devices?
Sorry I don’t
@@TechSteve can you explain or direct me how I can find out how to do that?

This helped me out. Thank you!
Will these work just for sound trying to find something to go from my projector to my soundbar
It’s a input device so it needs to be connected to a source
My nyrius gets hot and stops receiving the signal
Can this be used on a camera and monitor that had HDMI out to a TV for client monitoring?
Yes, you can with any hdmi source and input
I’m not sure what you’re question is, can you provide more details.
Good morning. Do you know how to use an Android phone or tablet as the monitor? I would like to have a remote camera live stream on Zoom.
Why just get a cloud camera that’s always on. A tablet or phone you have to deal with software and inconsistencies.

Hello @Tech Steve. Is there any reset every 2 mins? My siig does
I haven’t seen that option on this unit
Not an option bro. It's a defect which is annoying.
Can you plug it to a projector and a camcorder?
Yes, anything hdmi
Does it work on a direct tv or cable box ?
It will transmit any hdmi signal
Excellent review 👍
Thanks for the nice comment
Can I pair 2 TVs to 1 computer?
You would have to buy a splitter and 2 units
can i use for android box to connect tv
Yes, it will work well
How many receivers per transmitter ???
1
Do you recommend the j tech digital
I haven’t heard of it
Mini-USB? 2008 called and they want their port back. No native USB Type-C in 2019? That's been around for at least 5 years. Shameful.
If anyone makes one of these that's not a complete rip off in price, it will be useful.
Nice & Thanks :)
So I'm having difficulties with this
Basically I see the signal what looks like trying to reach out but I'm not picking up anything on the screen and they both keep flashing
Press the button on both units to pair
I see a lot of cable for wireless device
It’s to power up and the source
Dayum!
