- After the events of Sonic 2, Sonic and Tails arrive on Angel Island that falls into the ocean due to the emergency landing of Death Egg much earlier than Dr. Eggman. Acquainted with Knuckles and after explaining to him what is happening, they are decide to defeat Dr. Eggman once and for all. Can Dr. Eggman overcome all the traps set by Knuckles, slip past the robots made by Tails, who asked for the help of animals, and take possession of the Master Emerald necessary to fix the Death Egg?
All-new adventure across the Angel Island has began! After the rough meeting with Knuckles, Dr. Eggman decide to move through the jungle and find the way out

Wow... this is.... actually quite close to my idea of how Eggman would play. the only thing missing is his sprint dash: an instant run move that starts off faster than sonics max speed but slows down alot after a short time.

Fun fact, Robotnic was originally meant for the main character, but they scrapped that, because it was to much like Mario.
Well, sorta. They had a concept for an old guy with a moustache. But he tested the lowest when they ran their surveys to choose a main character, so they made Baldy McNosehair into the villain.

Heck playing as Eggman is a rare thing in the games. Would be interesting to see it. (I still think Eggman has cybernetic legs, since in sonic 1 he able to run pretty fast, especially despite his frame)
