I used to think real magic didn't exist. Then I discovered Diana. What she is capable of doing on stage is pure magic.
This one was about 6 years ago. She has performed this numerous times since, and has evolved the arrangement to add an intro singing harmonic minor runs that are hauntingly beautiful. This video is a very abbreviated version, and it's difficult to hear her due to the audience cheering.
Diana conveys emotions in an unrealistically believable way, as if she herself is the heroine of this tragic story....And in all performances, this song, indeed, finds new nuances every time, expressed by her inimitable and beautiful voice. Diana skillfully and subtly introduces us to the narration of this dramatic story, forcing us to experience together with the heroine of the song "The Last Dance...
You really ought to find some of her recent work. Her voice is even more amazing. She's 20 now (14 here in this performance). Enjoyed it. 💕🌷
No mather what competition or song, she blows everone away. And her France is very good. Such a singer you see once in your lifetime, very unique. And her stage precense is always top. Did you see her singing the Soundtrack of Dune by Art of Hans Zimmer in St Petersburg with a massive orchest.

Thank you very much for this new review to Diana. She really is a natural talent to be on stage, regardless that she has it very well rehearsed and prepared. In this video, what strikes me the most (being her presentation in this program, if I'm not mistaken Rechenka was her third song, so she was already more "seasoned") is that she enters the stage with a tremendous smile, and as soon as the music starts, she changes radically to get into her role. Another fantastic detail is that, although the ovation is generalized and has the judges on their feet, she doesn't lose her composure, as you said in Rechenka's video, and continues until the end, until the last detail she had prepared.
Like Dimash, she is a great admirer of Lara Fabian (I don't know if it was influenced by Igor Krutoy or she knew her beforehand), who I believe is the master for a whole generation, no one performs like her, it is what every good performer aspires to. If you decide to analyze any of her songs I would suggest you to watch "Je suis malade" from her concert "From Lara with Love" or the one from "En toute intimite".
Lots of encouragement with your work and know that you have a large number of followers who will always support you.
At her younger age she used to focus so much on her performance that just one song exhausted her. Now she has built endurance and can do it much longer without getting tired.🙏🏼🌹

This is (I believe) the same show/season Diana performed Rechenka, so she is 14. But by 14 she was already a completely seasoned performer. She had been singing anywhere and everywhere by that time. Her version of this song when she was 16 is even better. They added that bit she sings with the harmonic minor scale at the end up front as an intro and it is 😘 so perfect.

I’d like to recommend you a crossover group from South Korea(from Phantom Singer 4 this year) I discovered recently. Its name is “Forténa” that consists four tenors(I’ve heard it’s the first crossover group with four tenors). This group has two count tenors which is unusual for crossover group.
One of the members is a very famous count tenor(His name is DQ Lee and played in lots of operas all over the world).
Please check their cover songs, “Neapolis” and “Demain n’existe pas“ from a competition program(phantom singer 4).
