I actually wanna correct something, Xiao Yuan did not read novels on his free time, but he actually read the novel after he was diagnosed with cancer to motivate himself? i guess? xiao yuan's family (in the modern world) raises their children following story stereotypes, like the tyrannical president who fell in live with a common girl kind of stereotypes. Thats why they raised xiao yuan as "tyrannical" president (hes not tyrannical in the slightest lol, hes pretty kind). so when he was diagnosed with cancer, he read every novels he can find of a president that was successful even though he has a cancer just so he could follow that i guess? idk if this make sense 😭 if it doesnt just ignore it 👍
