So hard to find full bands n torches. But that's what makes it fun. I'm always looking.
I have a few Merc’s that look to appear to have full bands, I love them. My grandfather had saved them. Nothing surprises me anymore concerning coins. Video was helpful, as usual! I will definitely look more closely at 1983 dines!

Great info about the 1983 p and dimes, I think I'll go to the bank to get some dime rolls to look for a rpm on the 1983 d dime and fb on the 1983 p dime.

Did not know about the 83 dime being so scarce but I have been going through my dimes lately I was mostly looking for errors but now I know to look for this thank you again for the knowledge

I always check my dimes for full bands. Didn’t know those could be worth a lot in 1983. Always hard finding clear full bands in the the 80’s dimes

Nice 83. I keep all dimes old and new with full bands. I have at least one for the years 2011 till now.

I have 1983 dimes but haven't gone through them looking for FB/FT. Now that you have given me the details of what to look for I will definitely check them out under the scope. Not sure if I have any Philadelphia ones but I'll check all I have. I do not have any 1983 proofs but now I'm tempted to look for an unopened proof set hoping for a no S! Did not know about the full bands. Cool I have a 1983 D dime with grading! Thanks J&B I just bought a 1982 S Proof set and now I wish I bought the 1983 proof set instead! So the hunt continues for the 1983 Philadelphia dime!

I look at all the coins i get now, you just never know!! Never knew about the 83's..I did find a really nice 2014 with a cud on his cheek, and full bands with a die crack going thru the bottom part of the torch on the reverse.

I have not been checking any coins but I am putting anything I have away! I will be sure to check my dimes when I can but I cannot use my left hand whatsoever so it may be a while! it always amazes me that proof coins that are perfect with no mistakes don't sell for much at all but the business are the ones that bring the big money. yes I checked all my coins for a mistakes or perfectness. yeah I knew about the 1982 no mint mark but not this one

Ive got some good 1983 dime in my collection, a couple look pretty good as far as the P full bands but not quite full. Wouldnt pass for full band. Saved some nice Ds but none double. Oh well, keep looking. Thanks J n B.
I have a 1983 dime with some very poor details, is there a way I could send you a photo of both sides so you could let me know if it's worth anything? It's got some very "globby" spots on the back side. Globby probably isn't the proper term, I'm just getting into your videos. Gave you a like and subscribed today!
I just found a 1983 P dime with (idk) a triangle under the base of the neck where the P is...not sure if that's maybe what ur describing??

I have heard of this and looked for the full bands and other errors on these dimes and dates be... Dimes are a tough hunt... Hard to see and hold... Fb and ft designations are a standard in determining grade thanks j and b.
