CLIL, or Content and Language Integrated Learning, is a way of teaching other school subjects through English. Teacher and Oxford Discover author Kathleen Kampa, explains how you can do this, and what the benefits are.
This former flight attendant explains quite clearly CLIL, thank you. :)

Is this video for adults or children? I'm confused
Anyone who is interested in it
She is full of energy. She must have been a school teacher or a kindergarten before. Thanks for your wonderful video.
Awesome. She involves gestures in her presentation to make meaning clearer that is good for low level English speakers.
?? But one assumes she's talking to language or subject teachers whose level of English is presumably sufficient to teach through it.
I really liked this video because it's simple and easy to understand!
I'm really interested for this, because at about seven years ago, I joined with some CLIL teachers from the Netherlands in West Papua, Indonesia, for a CLIL learning in summer.
Clear spoken and easy to comprehand . thanks
Well done!!! Excellent summary. Thanks

This is the way teachers should teach. Simple.
Very well explained and easy to understand. thanks a lot.

Thank you so much !!!
Your voice is enchanting!
Would you like to explain how to create learning outcomes of narrative text?
Thanks ahead
I really like your explanation 💗
Very interesting. I completely agree.
Is this aimed at English teachers? Teachers with a high or native level of English and adults?
Thanks ma'am....love from India
Well spoken
So sad to read such negative comments, teachers. Make your own videos then

"explain like I'm five" thanks I'M michael scott
There's a general trend in teacher training where the trainees are taught as though they are themselves elementary school kids. It doesn't work as well as the trainers think it does
thks :)
I am an english teacher and I want to improve my teaching in order to get the best result for my students,...
Here I also desire to modify my lesson planning, but I have a little problems how to build learning outcomes for some topic, eg. My topic is folktale,so what is the best learning outcomes that I should write on my learning objectives, thanks a lot for your explanation.Mam.
Hi Mustafa, this blog from Philip Haines might be helpful to you on this topic! -> oxelt.gl/3FTEkOJ It also contains a link to the full webinar, which you can watch for free on the Oxford Teachers' Club. ^Chesca
I brought an elephant into the classroom. It did not 'fit in'...
When an infomercial presenter becomes a teacher.
Hard to watch due to excessive gesticulation. The content is meaningful though.
This is really sad, sounds like CLIL for dummies.
+Darío Luis Banegas there are atually a lot of teachers out there who are afraid of clil and think that it's complicated because they lose control of the kids they dont have the kids going through reams of grammar practice and think that they are not learning.
There are a lot of teachers who need convincing. As someone who spent a year training in clil techniques I still know how hard it can be to get kids motivated especially when you are fighting teachers who prefer traditional techniques of kids sitting silently doing excercises.
She's also a teacher and an author of oxford discover (at least I think it is her) and those books are pretty awesome.

this is so patronising! what a shame as the content is good
What the hell was that?!
