    One thing that can help accuracy is to change out your front sight. On my M98s in both 7x57 and 8x57, I replaced that "barleycorn" style front with a blade or post style, as used on the Swedish M96s. I ordered mine from Liberty Tree Collectors. The divetail is the same size. I did end up using a small round file to open up that rear leaf sight.

    This is a model that I've never had. You can tell that the Swedes def used these to pattern their Mausers. Thanks for the review!

      I remember back in the mid-80s Norma converted a number of M96 actions to .308 for importation into the states. However, they were heaver target barrels, with quite precise target sights, IIRC.

    For the nose cap the cleaning rod was supposed to be part of lock system for it, personally love the 1916 and trying to find one with early roller coasters sights

    I love watching videos about other countries arms…there all accurate and truly built beautiful… it’s the people carrying them… there resolve to make them weapons… I think somehow the USA still builds people better.. we could beat back anyone
