i love the idea of a solo writing retreat. Also, your attention to detailed planning is impressive. How long do you usually spend in this drafting/planning phase relative to the drafting? Is it a 1:2 ratio?

So for my last project which I finished the first draft in, it was probably somewhere between 1:1 and 1:2 but linearly drafting probably took longer just because I tend to slow down more doing the same thing over and over. This time around I'm doing so much research and cheat sheet making that it'll definitely be way longer than the first draft, but the part that's exclusively planning not as much more. Definitely saves me time in drafting/revisions though!
