Hi Dave, another great video on an important topic. Where I live is measured in meters. Maps are often at a scale of 1:25000 but due to the metric system this is still very easy to convert. Thanks for the information. JPH

Another great video! Paper maps are not as easy to aquire as they used to be, for more than 50 years Paper maps have been able to get from point A to Point B.

The Local BLM Office also has Topo Maps for your State and County . I went to check them out when I Retired and moved here. Only 2 miles from my House.

The 1:10K thing is brilliant. I have an app that will allow me to print any scale, I guess my default from now on is 1:10K! And for damn sure, the Rite in the Rain notebook in my pocket, inches on one side, centimeters on the other! Good bye 1:24K!
