Coding is dead, programing is not. I am really tired of having to stress that. Programming is software problem solving. That won't go away just because AI can write the code. I mean even if you describe all your requirements in natural language -- that is still programming. Can you imagine some user of a dropshipping storefront describing to an AI that he needs a server solution heavily based on parallelization that uses a NoSQL database? And then not being able to debug when the AI makes a blunder?
I actually can imagine that. My friend has an IT business here in russia, he says that he now uses AI heavily, because he can just type the problem and it will give him a solution, saving hours searching info on forums manually. Still bad for very complex problems, but it's improving, and it takes a couple of seconds vs a couple of hours.
@@AndreyMakarov-i7h I think that is viable for the surface 1/3rds of the problems, sure, but hardships aren't really defined by the easiest problems you can solve. I agree. As an EE, academia was so frustrating because all they would ever teach was theory. It wasn’t until I struggled with my own personal projects where I felt like an actual engineer. Going for my masters, hoping it these upper level specialty courses would be different. Nope. More theory. Not to mention US universities have a jobs program for professors, forcing students to essentially buy into useless, expensive general study courses which slows students down by about a year or so. I’m a millennial but was a TA for some of our EE classes. Nearly all students were Gen Zers. I graded their homework, helped them through labs, graded quizzes, and tutored them. Most of the students struggled with freshman/sophomore level courses. They had no interest or desire to learn proper ways of analysis. Most were lazy and apathetic. And most struggled with middle school math. The quality of our students, even in STEM, is dwindling. I’m not sure what their final grades were, but many were not looking good going into their finals.
I’ll be honest i was one of those students 😂 i was good at theory but terrible at labs. Some people just have different learning styles. I didnt truly build an intuition for circuits and systems until after my first year at work where i saw real world applications. TBH the way big public universities teach is not set up for most, its very focused on research recruitment.

Lol facts. It's changing but won't disappear in the way many people think. IT is still a major industry and it can't all be outsourced to foreigners.
Coding is not dead per se, it's just evolving.
TRUTH
@@AndreyMakarov-i7h I think that is viable for the surface 1/3rds of the problems, sure, but hardships aren't really defined by the easiest problems you can solve.

But anyone that already coded in the copying from from StackExchange era knows that this approach has its limits.

I see XAI301F moving right along side all the Alt's you mentioned! Plus I see all the Alt's plus XAI301F moving in lock step in the charts! My point is XAI301F is cheap! Retail likes buying cheap! Especially when that cheap item is on the verge of becoming expensive

All in on Bitcoin. Couldn’t agree more. Glad to see you’re doing well. Look forward to the next video

Where do you buy XAI301F?
what's that?
That’s the wrong question.
The right question is “why?”

It's funny, I'm 51 and a truck driver who works for one of the big tech firms. You are so spot on. Most of my co-workers are zoomers and we're understaffed while expanding under near impossible standards. I don't see how we keep growing at this pace without major problems.
A $100 investment in Bitcoin in 2010 would now be worth approximately $11.72 billion 👀

A $11.72 billion investment in Bitcoin now will be worth $100 in 2040. No hype lasts forever.

I see some sense in what he is saying. Actually, the technology has never been the end. The whole point of technology is to get us to do things in a more convenient way. If we channel tech that way, it should propel other things like media, medicine, education and so on. I think we should stop focusing on tech as a product but something that makes our lives more convenient.
He always say coding is DEAD but here I am and AI still can't do my job and I think it's IMPOSSIBLE for AI to take over a software developer's job.
Sure AI can make code snippets.. but work on an entire application??? NO WAY AI can do that..
And I HAVEN'T HEARD of a software developer replaced by an AI.. BECAUSE IT CAN'T!!!
I am thinking ways how can AI, replaced a software developer and IT'S IMPOSSIBLE.
One of the biggest hurdle of A.I. is that IT CANNOT DECIDE... IT CANNOT DESIGN... How can it attend a meeting. It cannot plan.. etc... IMPOSSIBLE..
Still getting payed big bucks.
@valcrist7428 I'm glad you see that AI is just a tool. Besides, statistically speaking, there haven't been positive reviews regarding how AI helps productivity. There were even reports from developers that AI increased bugs. However, what I agree with him on is that, there seems to be a slow down in the tech space. Unlike the 2010s, we had iPhones coming out, androids, etc. What I don't agree with is that it's going to be that way forever
@@joshuaadewale1409 Yes are Smartphones getting boring recently with nothing new to offer except that it's bit faster and better camera. But at the end of the day it is just used for taking pictures/videos and browsing on social media.
trying to make money from coding is like trying to become a world of warcraft gold farmer.
Great venting, no suggested solutions. It is us to us.
For all the hate TechLead gets, he actually makes a lot of legit points I'm sure we all have thought of before here.
Yea haha. Most people are just in denial
That’s why we are here…lol
Echoing some of the other comments, I actually think this is one of TechLead's LEAST troll videos. He is 100% correct in saying anyone at the ground floor isn't any better than H1-B (probably means to say "offshore", H-1Bs tend to be quite sharp, you see plenty at Senior/Staff level albeit still cuckolds to their employers) or the current AI offerings (e.g. ChatGPT). Juniors have been getting shafted since 2020 when many companies realized juniors + full-remote don't mesh well.
No doubt this will eventually cause an even-worse SWE shortage when the pendulum swings back the other way, but many of us will lose our homes by then, if we're not otherwise forced out of the industry (further exacerbating the shortage). I can't imagine this happening until there's a more favorable economic environment (really just need the Fed to drop rates to ~0%) to kick off a fresh "bidding war" for talent (like what we saw from FAANG circa 2021).
For the "veterans"- hang in there. If you're fortunate enough to have a job- especially full-remote- hang on tight. Coast as much as you can/want to, of course, but hang on tight.
Well come back my favorite, actually I was rewatching ur vids this week🙏🏿

I love how you broke down the XAI301F project in your video! Can’t wait to see it skyrocket!
I heard you and it has continued to change my life trajectory as an NYC former trader and tech data scientist who is now building my own startup and doing content creation (AI/ML/python/data science etc) for a global org. It allows me to leverage the STEM and coding and finance background while not relying on an 80hrs a week job. Also UAE push a lot of capital into importing instructors from the US so I hear you. I am listening. From my standpoint the bitcoin pitch is the part that makes people think you are a troll. I think you are serious but as you said, investing too early also isn’t good. Love to hear more on why you are now elevating bitcoin as a priority on your channel as I wouldn’t have learned so much from you if that was always your ultimate goal. Thanks! Keep grinding dude!
