The drone footage of the outlaying property is just gorgeous. The green green! Close to the house is coming right along. Im loving the journey. Good morning from Lumberton Texas
The Sicilian carts are truly a work of art. It's so intricate. There's a tiny museum in Taormina that houses several. Well worth a visit if you're in this beautiful town. Sicily is so diverse,
Another great video, Brian. It was well worth the wait! Beautiful scenery, enjoyed the parade...still brown over here in New England. Some places in NH got 26 inches of snow in one storm last week...😮 Cannot believe how hooked I am on watching your channel! I look forward to your next episode..... Thanks for sharing! Say hi to Beth - you both did a great job cutting back the brush on the olive trees - patio is looking great, too! Regards John
I just love your description of the people and the event. I can believe they were people from all over the world! I even saw dancers from Colombia SA 😮
I have to admit...living here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon where you're at in Sicily looks similar in some ways, but, with a lifestyle and life texture I admire :-D I'm seeing you made a solid choice.
That’s a good question. There hasn’t been much rain at all… but it is lush all around us right now. We do live in a valley (almost a microclimate) and the closer you get to the ocean the drier it gets.
I can suppose why that field look so green. If I don't wrong on that field grows wheat and that plant had got very deep roots which are able to catch water deeply beneath the soil. That's is why or.... at least I suppose so. In any case you know in Sicily pretty well since ever one uses to grow wheat and the Romans, when them had been rule Sicily, used to say Sicily was "il granaio dell'impero" (wheat imper store), the land which used supply wheat and its flour. Cheers. Silvio
Our city is technically Noto (Noto is huge) but we live in the countryside 30 minutes from the city part of Noto and 10 minutes from Palazzolo Acreide. It is really gorgeous here!
@@beeseurotravel Noto is a wonderful city, worth a trip to Sicily on its own. Palazzolo Acreide is another wonderful place. There is a high level restaurant there (in an old noble palace) which is unbelievable. I don't remember the name, sorry.
You are lovely people
So wonderful you are experiencing Sicilians 😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
The best!
Those Olive trees just needed some tlc. Well done

Like the music so much better. Thank you for bringing my culture to me here in the Midwest of America
I would call what you are building a “patio”. Love your videos!
I was so hoping Massimo was going to be the one on that last cart/float. 😂❤
That would’ve been priceless… 😝
Enjoying your videos! Jeff from San Diego, Ca.
Thanks, Jeff 😎

You guys need to check out Ristorante La Grotta 😀
In Ragusa or Scicli?
Love your videos, Brian! Watching from British Columbia, Canada. How much land do you guys have?
Thanks 😊 3 hectares.
How did you find this gem of a home? Realtor or website? I would love something similar
I actually got lucky and found it online. There are still lots of properties like this in Sicily.
How come it is so green? I heard there hasn’t been much rain, and there is a drought. Thanks for the great video

Are there any snakes there and if so are there any poisonous ones?
Yeah… there are some vipers around but not where we are 😳
It looks gorgeous!! You are near Noto …. In a village or hamlet or in the country side??

I can see the point of the flags a bit more when they're doing the flag throwing, but not to just walk about with them
